lol siccy boy won't respond as mentioned before for reasons he already mentioned. He doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

I en joy Streethop and I wanted it to see get big again and have lots of people on the forums. I tried what i could to help out where i could. Became part of staff and was actively helping out for a while. I think I paid my dues! lol.
Fuck feelings. I want to know his reasons.
so.... where do you get your porn from carmi?
I don't watch porn, I watch live porn. Muchos better. ;)

Btw guys I'm going to try to keep the Movie Links up and running again. ChrisZimbo still isn't back so I'll try to do what he did, probably not as good but I'll try.

^That would be awesome if you could find links other than RS like zimbo did.
what would that be though? if it's a private torrent it won't work unless whoever wants to download has an account on the server the tracker is on. if it's a public torrent, it will show on most of those free torrent sites like thepiratebay or mininova. torrentz.com searches several different search engines. that leaves http links and rs links. which sorta just leaves rs links.

Lets not be idiots here. Avatars have nothing to do with creating traffic.

This place has been in a decline (albeit a slow one) since it got hacked and became streethop instead of hitemup. If you can't figure out why this is, you're stupid.
Except StreetHop and this forum existed way BEFORE the hack and used to co-exist with HitEmup.

So that throws your theory out the window.

In reality, message boards are becoming less popular and social sites are taking over, and hip-hop is too becoming less popular.

Im considering giving regular users small avatars. Im all for everyone having avatars but dont want to step on Jon or Rukas's toes regarding the set up they had before I joined.

Plus I expect certain people here to abuse the avatar picture and use obscene images, adding more work for me to do on the forum (for free) and take away from my time contributing to the actual site.

And the site, news and audio, is what brings new people in. The news gets more traffic than the forum, and the news gets more new member referrals than the forum. Then the members come to the forum and for some reason get put off posting here and that is what we need to fix.

So why are new members put off from posting? In my opinion it is the constant bickering and attitudes of some members. I believe the whole racist comment debate probably turned people off, and this annual "streethop is dying" thread also turns people off. Its the same every year. Yet we are still here.

If you're having a boring day on here, why not make a thread and encourage interaction? At the end of the day, conversation on here is what you make it.

From my part, I do believe that avatars and multimedia play a small part. So I am exploring two options. The first is all members have a small avatar, and VIPs have a larger one. Or, all members have the same size avatar, but VIPs can use VIDEOS as avatars (that wont play automatically so wont be annoying). But, I fully expect you guys to prove me right when I say that this will end up being abused.

The arcade is slowly coming back and the video section is being worked on. Im also working on some other multimedia things I am not going to discuss right now.

And on top of that I am writing several news/audio articles a day.

The problem is all this inforum bickering and complaining takes my time away from doing those jobs that bring traffic and thus members in.

In my opinion very few of you have any respect for authority, myself or mods, and run wild and love to be e-rebels. You'll find yourselves banned because Im sick of dealing with attitude problems and baby sitting children. The mods on here need to be respected, their say is final, and this needs to be put in place for the site and member base to grow.

It's the internet Caesar, everyone is a rebel is one way or another. People joke and pretty much dont give a fuck, frankly why should they? I think the whole authority figures thing here is a problem already and it looks like it will continue to be one.

Lookie here, now. I'm not climbing on Ceasars nuts here, but when did it become a trend to push the guy that keeps running the site out of the kindness of his fucking heart? Some people use (uncalled for) racists comments, Ceasar decides it's enough and now people are acting like our basic democratic rights are violated. Hello? Where did this come from?

And now we get every lame John and Dick in here taking cheap shots @ Ceasar for banning some people.

C'mon, now.

Well if people posts obscene avatars, just remove their right to have an avatar.

And as much as I complained I'm down for stricter rules as long as its constant and not once every month. Because recently it's only been once in a while that mods/supermods/admin would ban somebody or apply rules. If it's all the time and not only when the mods/supermods/admin feel like doing their jobs, it's all fine with me.

It did, and who the fuck posted here before hitemup got hacked? No one.

Point is, this sites big attraction was the Tupac scene, thats been gone a long while now. And the site HAS been declining since the hack.

Your whole e-rebel theory is fucking retarded too btw.

? That makes no sense. You werent around then really, and hundreds of people posted here, this forum was bumping with activity back in the day. I think that HitEmUp.Com was something like the 34th most popular forum on the internet. And there is thousands of forums around.
