I think it's hard to create a beat better than the original of "when we ride on our enemies" and that's why personally I think that there's no remix that is better.
Agreed. OG beat is beautiful and the mood it sets make the words in the verses more potent too imo.
I started uploading remixes because I wanted to make a hot pac remixes thread. I have about 10gb of internet releases that were put out over the years. I stopped keeping up with the remix scene about 3 years ago, so this will be a lot of shit from that point and dating backwards. There's a lot of gems in there and I wanted to share some, but after uploading those 3 tracks I got tired and went to bed or something.
I used to make Pac remixes, and to get feedback on my own I would listen to a lot of other people's remixes and leave feedback on theirs, so I've heard a great deal of remixes over the years. After a certain point, I stopped checking out blends (remixes where someone took an instrumental for another artist and just timed the acapella over it) because there's a million of those. Plus, what's the point. And after having heard a thousand produced remixes too, it got to the point where I no longer listened to Pac remixes for the overall impression of the remix, I judged them purely based on the production and how it fit with the song.
King Dizzy makes hot beats and plays the guitar, so his beats are better and more professional sounding than the average net remixer. I also used to know him and dj fatez so they would send me a lot of stuff that they didn't put out on Pac forums. I have a lot of beats from both that they never used for Pac remixes. They're both great music producers. Just listen to the beat on Uppercut I posted. And check the bassline on Me Against The World.
