2Pac in 1996 - About Better Dayz and UTEOT

Hi,

I bought UTEOT yesterday (yeah I know it's kinda late, but I have my reasons;) ).

Well, on the sticker on the front of the album, it says :

"The first of 2 double albums recorded during 2Pac's Makaveli period".

And it's the same with Better Dayz.

I was wondering : did 2Pac really knew that he was gonna die in 1996, which is why he recorded those albums ?

I mean did he planned to put out albums even after his death ?

Cause well I listen to 2Pac everyday, just as everybody on this board, but I'm always like : "how the hell did he managed to record not only 2, but 2 DOUBLE albums in such a short period of time ??"

I also want to know if those albums are just as 2Pac planned to be like, with the same songs, etc. and if there are other albums that were specifically recorded for a posthumous release.

Thanks for your answers .

Ok, but I remember watching an interview where Tupac was mentioning that he had albums ready to come out if something happened to him.
So I wonder if Tupac had some albums already prepared, or if he had just recorded songs that are released nowadays on albums like LTTG, Pac's Life, etc.

Pac was out on bail pending appeal. The chances of his appeal being successful were slim, and that was even before beating down Orlando violated his parole.

The simple truth is that Pac was working like a mad man to support his family in case he died or in soon be back in jail, which was quite likely at the time.

So I wonder if Tupac had some albums already prepared, or if he had just recorded songs that are released nowadays on albums like LTTG, Pac's Life, etc.
A bit of both. He made tracks like Letter 2 My Unborn specifically in case he died. He obviously had concrete projects like One Nation.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd still like to hear trax that sounded like RUSD or from 91-94. If it sounds too dated, then just tweak it like if it were Open Fire or Who Do You Believe In? You don't have to delete vocals and OG beats to appeal to "real" fans...In Pacs wordz, "Hopeless!"
