2pac Related - The Game's Doctors Advocate

Yeeaah. I kinda noticed this from his DMX work and how half the beats on his songs sound the same.

Swizz Beatz is up there with Neptunes & Lil Jon. I think they just take their hit beat, and change the tempo, couple instruments, and the speed. SOmetimes I think they forget to do a couple of those steps they're so familiar.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Game, but I don't think Doctor's Advocate will be considered a classic album in the long run. It will definitely be one of 2006's better (mainstream) albums in terms of both overall quality and sales, but I highly doubt its staying power after a few years pass. Just because you'll probably still have some of the tracks on your regular mp3 playlist in a couple years doesn't make it a classic. But only time will tell.
If I'm not mistaken, "Documentary" was considered damn good or classic, so what makes you think this lp won't go down in history when it's 2x better than the Documentary.

Game is already a legend. Look at all the talk, drama, and other things revolving around Game in his short time in rap. He's on the scope heavy. He's the only dude to drop such a good good westcoast mainstream album in years. This LP is going down in history.

It's already a classic. Trust me. And I'm not the type of person to use that term loosely.

This thread is too funny. I see people saying Swizz is a top producer and also see people hating on Game. All of which is a no no.

You can hate on Game as much as you want, but "Doctor's Advocate" is going down as a classic whether it sells or not. He came a long way and I got a whole new outlook and respect on him. Him mentioning Dre's name and mimmicking his voice and style of rap is annoying at times, but the lp is called the "Doctor's Advocate".

Swizz on the other hand almost ruined the lp with the noise. The track he made for Game isn't that bad, but it is still wack. His signature sound is played out. To me he lacks talent. He's not creative at all.
