Alone Tonight, Alone Forever

im incredibly bored right now, and decided id post up my second poem. Again, i wrote this late at night, wen i cudnt sleep. It seems that insomnia seems to inspire me lol. Theres sum rhyming in it but ther is no specific rhyme pattern. So here it is

Alone Tonight, Alone Forever

I lie alone
Hating myself
Wishing I could tell you my feelings and love
Wishing I was strong enough

I hear the words repeat inside me
"I love you, I need you"
Feel them linger upon my lips
Waiting to be freed

But when I speak to you again
My fear will control me
I'll fight against my dreams
And hold it all inside me

It may hurt lieing alone now
But I deal with the pain
Because I know it will hurt more
Lieing alone, after I've told you everything

You're right about insomnia being inspirational...

Really great poem, it was heartfelt and meaningful, and I don't know if it was personal but I'm sure it is to somebody. You've got a talent I hope you continue to use it
