In one of the FBI interrogation records, an unidentified informant who had ties to Tupac and Sabatino, told authorities in an interview held six years after Tupac's death that he was inside the Quad Studio s when Tupac was shot in 1994.

The informant told authorities that Sabatino appeared unconcerned when shots were heard and yelled ‘Get that piece of (expletive) out of here!’ when a bloodied Tupac appeared in the studio.

The informant also claimed that Sabatino said that Tupac needed to be ‘dealt with’.
