Can someone fill me in on this TV series?

I haven't seen it myself, but a lot more information has come out the past ten years regarding the stuff around his murder. Not sure how up to date you are so it could be a nice watch just for all the new information it likely sums up. Stuff like who was in the car, and how Puffy seems to be a bigger part of the picture than I can remember we used to talk about back in the day. People have always been onto Orlando, but I never knew people in the shooter car had been in Puff's music video and shit so there's a lot more to the story than I remember being discussed back in the day.

Murder rap is actually really good. To me, it felt like by far the most likely, complete picture on the story, and really well researched - I felt like it's filled with more information (including completely new to me, but factual information) than any other material I've ever seen. I got a little closure from watching it. I'm actually surprised at how little media attention it's received.

Another sad part was how there was nobody in the industry to stand up to Puffy anymore. Then I thought for a second and realized there is nobody really acting on behalf of 2pac these days, apart from some local commentary on social media or Youtube, mostly misguided. Snoop is full of himself, Daz gets stoned and rambles on Youtube, calling people faggots, the Outlawz are basically gone. Not only the associated artists, but 2pac's estate seems to be mostly gone or lacking any meaningful message or actions. The fact that there's still plenty of decent content, but no albums for 12 years now feels highly unusual too.

I assume you're referring to the USA show Unsolved? I've only watched the first 3 episodes, which seemed to focus more on Biggie's murder than Tupac's. It's better than I was expecting though. I think I'll watch the rest at some point.

The person they cast as Tupac has a much closer resemblance to him than Demetrius Shipp Jr. in All Eyez On Me.

The actor that plays him is the same one that briefly played him in Straight Out Of Compton right?
