Child Protective Services provide protection to children from any type of abuse.
But what if there is a large number of workers and no actual abuse?...then they try and make cases.
IMO, they are more good than bad.
(Though, i am talking about a case that i know that rose up because there was a small fight between some people during a party where children where present.)
One of the main reasons is because they have to keep a case alive to keep getting money. Therefore, they will insist on putting the case on hold to prolong it and or taking advantage of people whom don't know their rights and try and build a case.
For example, letting them in your house is letting them gather evidence against YOU, when all you are doing is trying to be cooperative. When all its doing is letting people impede into your life.
Some say that It doesn't matter because the good outweighs the bad, (Good obviously being taking abused children to a "better place"). But imo, an abused child is obvious to teachers and child cares and that's the only time those people should be involved.
What do you guys think? I want your perspective.
Are child protective services REALLY needed or should they stay in office and not build cases, but rather work on a case that is court ordered?
