Death rap

is there a gerne called death rap? i know theres death metaL so i was just thinkin that if there was, tupac was classed as that, cuz of hiz dark Lyricz. Therez many other names i couLd List. any thoughtz?

my definition of death rap would be dark consistant flows that all have consistant characteristics of death. even if some songs are on a different page and on a gangsta tip, i think he could be classified az both gangsta rap and Death rap, if that iz a gerne or sumthin i just thought up.

Rapper/producer Necro calls his music death rap. It's basically the same as the subgenre horrorcore. Tupac doesn't fit in with that genre.

the preferred term is horrorcore (derived from horror movies/hard core) hip hop and would be best described by artists like gravediggaz, flatlinerz, necro, cage, southpark psycho, etc... definitely not 2pac.

death rap = horrorcore

horrorcore = esham, natas, twiztid, half breed, gravediggaz, necro, bedlam, project deadman, brotha lynch hung etc.

no, death rap is lyrics that go far beyond "yo yo im a thug" like Pac and Biggie rap about

it's like describing horror movies

go download some Necro songs and you'll see the difference
