I need to invest in a good pair of earbud headphones. Sick of just using the apple ones all the time. Can anyone recommend any?

they _are_ shitty. my experience with any skull candy headset was that it sounded like the music came out of a tin box compared to any other set of phones i tried. when you use them over time you might not notice it, but they definitely produce awful sound. i don't know about the top end models but considering their middle end models were so shitty, i'm not expecting much.

I dunno, my skullcandys rock as well. lol...

Anyways, I hear good stuff about Dre's Beats. You can't go wrong with Sennheisers as well. I'm not a fan of Bose headphones, kinda overrated imo. So, if I had to choose I'd say look into Sennheisers, or if you're willing to take a chance, try out Dre's Beats.

The ones I found are about £60 a pair. I found a John Lewis (department store) bag on the bus when I wrote my car off, looked inside and there were these brand new skull candy headphones. The bass is amazing, sends a shiver through my body. Im guessing people only have had bad experiences with the cheap ones.

I stole some $60 Skull Candy headphones, the Titan ones, from this electronic store that was going out of business by my house. They sound nice, good bass, like most speakers the mid range isn't the greatest but it's still sounds good. Don't know how much you're trying to spend but Sennheiser and Koss make good mid range earbuds, skull candy does as well to be honest

earbud headphones.... people are posting about the other type...

personally, i will never go back to earphones because im used to headphones. the earphones would always fall out with ease anyway. the apple ones were good while i had them. im sure casey has some heartbeats which he says are amazing and cheaper than the beats by dre.

of course if you go with monster beats, there are different ones you can buy (dre, lady gaga, diddy, lebron james, justin beiber... list goes on)

im sure you dont want cheap ones so rule those out. senheisser are good. masta had some good advice in my thread - if you search it, there should be some useful stuff in there.

I have the Gaga/Dre ones, the Monster Heartbeats. Sound quality is great. I wouldn't pay what they usually charge for them retail though. It just so happened that last fall, Best Buy had a sale on and knocked about $80 of the regular price, so I copped 'em.

i guess it depends on what you need them for. if it's only for everyday listening, i'd say get anything cheap at your local electronics store. if not, i heard good things from the dre/gaga/bieber/etc collection.

I wouldn't splurge on in-ear headphones. I'd rather get a pair for 10 bucks, and drop 200+ on real headphones.

Nah. Everyones talking about in ear headphones. Dre does in ear headphones. As do skull candy and Sennheiser.

For sound quality yes. But you look like a cunt listening to your ipod with a set of over ear headphones, and they're not exactly compact. You can stick in ear headphones in your pocket.

I have a pair of headphones and earbuds. Aint no way I'm going to run or workout or snowboard or something along those lines with headphones, earbuds are a necessity. Actually this helmet I'm getting for snowboarding has a place for real headphones, shits tight. But anyway, yeah, you need a good pair of earbuds.

I agree with Rukas, gaga earbuds? lol. Just hit up newegg and similar sites and see what is on sale at the moment. Spend like $50 or so and they're all gonna be the same if you get em from a good company. Sennheiser, Koss, Skull Candy, even Sony with some pairs.
