wikipedia cannot be trusted...

lol @ this though:
"The song is often dedicated as a hate song to other people mostly perhaps by the most hated member in Internet forums. Often the most hated member posts the lyrics of the song for everyone to read, usually removing "Biggie" and other Bad Boy names, replacing them with the usernames of ones whom he or she hates."

and i want to hear this:
"In 2006, shortly after Terrell Owens was signed into the Dallas Cowboys, he created his own version of "Hit 'Em Up", this time dissing his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, who terminated his contract due to bad behavior."

Truth or Lie?

to answer your question:

hit em up (1)(cut):
exists in two versions, explicit and clean version (with changed lyrics).the song was originally released on the "how do you want it" cd single.the jay z diss is blanked out, after fatal convinced pac to let jay z out of the song/beef, because jay never said anything negative about pac at that point.pac just attacked anybody affiliated with biggie, but fatal was smart enough to calm pac down.

hit em up (1) (uncut):
this version includes the jay z diss in the outro.
this version was never officially released.

hit em up 2:
also known as the original version of hit em up which includes a verse by napoleon, the verses of the others are a little bit different.
this version leaked to the net and appeared on several makaveli bootlegs.

hit em up 3:
the rumors about this song were spread by suge knight himself, who said that pac did a new version of hit em up dissing snoop dogg after pac got word that snoop said in an interview for a new york radio station that he (snoop) has nothing to do with the beef between pac and bad boy and that he (snoop) would work with puffy and bad boy.the proof of existance of this song was never delivered by suge.
