He was about to say "my wife" and then he was like "my co-worker Wanda".

It's hilarious though, it's going up on facebook.

yeah it's because the algorithm used traces color differences on your face - contrast between skin on your cheeks/forehead and eyes/lips. That's how it determines that you pretty much have a face.
It also won't work if you have one eye, stretched face or whatever other bigger face deformation.

So yeah, it's a racist camera that hates black people and retards.

It's just stupid and totally amateuristic that HP didn't manage to make it work properly, though. The deformity thing, you can make a case for that but the blackness is just fail.

"Buy our great new gadget! Which won't work when you're black btw..."

Also, you're 4 posts away from 6k! Exciting. Big party planned?

^ yeah it's a big fail from HP. Apparently some programmer didn't think (and they didn't hire black testers either).
That's probably because the software was being developed in a country that is not inhabited by a significant amount of black people.

About my 6k post celebration I'm planning to combine that with my New Year's party. Since it's that important I'm sure people would rather celebrate my Streethop success :amuse:

that programme probably uses light recognition software. since (in physics) any white surface reflects light, and black surfaces absorb light. the camera aimed at a black surface would get the same feedback from looking into a black hole

Don't they pretty much have the same technology at some airports. I wonder if theirs do the same thing...probably not but whatever
