This is a serious post.

I am looking to be hypnotised. Hypnotised in the sence that you forget something that has happened or bothered you recently. Has anyone ever done this? I would like to know if in fact it works.

He kept having weird dreams about someone who was his little sister in his dreams dieing, but it was different each time. But he didnt remember having a sister and his parents denied it. He couldnt find any records of someone with his last name being born to his mother either. So he got hypnotised and it turns out he did have a sister, but she has a different name on her birth certificate (different dads) that died about 2 weeks after she was born, from heart complications. I suppose thats why she would always die differently in the dreams.

For like the school grad in highschool, we had this sorta ending party and we hired this professional hypontise guy man, and he was able to make a few ppl do like these skits for a while.. seemed very legit. Also very nice guy too, afterwards a couple of us chiped in and paid the guy 40 bucks to make this guy think he was a girl, and that lasted a couple of hours... good days good days.

But seriously, a friend of mine did this once to repress his saddness over his fathers death, im not sure where he went to, he just said he got help from a "pro".. On one hand he seemed alot better cuz he was going through shit, but on another kinda buggy how he seems so cool bout it, sorta seemed like easy way out, like hes just ignoring it.

I remember when I was in primary school and there was this song that every body used to sing, as a kind of get together in lesson and sing a song. It got on my nuts like a Knat that had walked in super-glue, and it drove me insane everytime I heard it. So I ended up trying to force it out my brain so it wouldn't bother me anymore if I ever came across it again. I can't remember what song it was but it was damn annoying. A kind of self-induced hypnotism.

I've considered this also, in my research I found that you can suffer from flashbacks and panic attacks with this kind of therapy, so I decided against it. However, there are many cases where it has worked aswell.
