2Pac was around today, artists like 50 Cent, Chingy and Neptunes would be wiped off the map. He would expose them for the fakes they are.

RIP Pac :(

oh fuck ya, of course. All these other mawfuckaz wouldnt even wanna TRY to take on 2pac. Compare 2pac to 50 "cents". I mean c'mon. 50 cent would make 2pac look EVEN GREATER THAN HE ALREADY IS. Chingy and Nelly wouldnt even exist, G-Unit would get murdered...lyrically and physcially...Puffy and Jay-Z wouldnt be as successful and DEATH ROW would rule the rap game.

But if Biggie was still alive, than the rap game today would be sooo much better than it already is.

PEACE
2PAC RIP!

No he wouldn't in fact I dare to say he would join em on their records.

He would sell out too if he didn't already  .

He'd do the same as they did if he wanted to..Go 4 the money....

If 2pac was around today he prolly would never have had the legendary status you are giving him now.

If 2pac was around today he would have had so much time to fuck up that you would hate him as much as hate you chingy.

LOL yeah sometimes ppl just dream too much  .

I think if Pac and Biggie were still around then the rap game would be totally different. At the moment most rap is about bling bling and violence.
I doubt it would be any different, it would still be about money, cars, hoes and guns because it was back then too.

WCsoul, the above statement is for you too, the game wouldn't be any different, 2Pac and Biggie would have been old news by now, they would be like the Snoop of todays Hip Hop.

Yeah, it was about car moneys and hoes, but Pac and Biggie did it with style. Now these rappers base their careers around that image, they over-emphasise it. Even rappers who don't live that lifestyle will rap about it anyway. Also we need some of todays rappers to drop some tunes like Dear Mama or Keep Ya head up. Tunes like that make 2pac what he is today.

There are plenty of rappers out there that do it with style, 50 Cent is one of them.

Rappers based their careers on that back then too.

And there are plenty of good meaningful songs out there today.

---

I have trouble with the thought of 'If Pac was here today, the game would be different' because that kind of thought lead to things like 'Hip Hop died when pac died'. Those kinds of people are the ones who only listen to Big, Pac and the rest of Death Row from back in the day, and they complain about how wack the game is today.

2pac's too big to ignore
that's the point, he's so big that some Pac fans tend to ignore OTHER talents.

Weren't you the one saying "I've never even heard the rest so they can go to hell" in the Oscar thread? Do you have the same attitude towards rappers? Tupac is the best so fuck the rest?

So I got a question you don't think Pac was part of it I mean you don't think he only rapped about bad things too or at least on alot of songs?

You and not only you only seem to look at the meaningful songs pac put out. But when you look further i believe his music isnt that much different from what 50 is bringin out today.

So if you say rap has gone downhill I think you should say pac helped bringin it down..Matter of fact every gangsta rapper is helping to destroy it than...

The thing with Pac was that he lived that lifestyle and then Rapped about it. Alot of rappers, don't live that gangsta lifesyle but all they talk about is gunz, crime, cars etc.
2pac rapped about real-life situation, he didn't just contantly go on about how many cars he got.
I think alot of rappers have been influenced by tupacs violent lyrics and have began to use his style in thier rap songs. What some of them don't realise is that 2pac was in a fucked up situation, he expressed that through his music.

So when did he rap about him going to an art skool? I mean i don't think it was all about pac...He lived his life style 50 got shot he raps about it..but when he does its a problem . Why? Because he is not pac...How come friends and artists say pac was becoming the gangsta he wanted to be so much the kid he played in one of his movies..He didnt get to live that lifestyle because he was born in it..they say he actually chose to live it. Offcourse he lived in a fucked up environment but he moved out of a worst one correct? Im not saying he had a happy life...just keep that in mind

So if you look at it that way pac was fake as hell am i right or not?

It is really the fans only that keep saying pac was the realest and shit..but you should ask all the fans who were listening to his shit from the day 2pacalypse came out and not the ones who started listening to him after all eyez on me...You should ask if he really was the man as so many kids today say.

Don't get offended please because I am really not dissing Pac just saying what I know...
