My friends and I are contemplating driving 2,600 miles down to Puerto Vallarta. 45 hour drive. I'm down but most likely won't get enough people on board so it will fall through. 4 people would be ideal. Another friend has a house down there.

2000 KM in a 48hr period. Vancouver BC to Fernie BC and back again. If you drove that same distance in the same direction but on the other side of the border, you'd end up somewhere in Montana.

I'd imagine that if you were going with cool people that the drive wouldn't be too bad. I drove that with one guy I'd met three times, argueably two since I was blacked out the first time. The other guy I had never met. The guy I'd met twice was such a twat, and happened to own the vehicle.

He had Sirius radio and he'd blast the top 20 for like 4 hours straight, which is the same shitty 20 songs on repeat, he'd sleep in all the time, he'd take forever to do anything. I could've strangled him. The guy I'd never met ended up being real cool. Incredibly awkward but in a cute/funny way. Yeah, I'm saying that about another guy. Needless to say, I flew home.

Warsaw to Vienna but not directly - it was via Czech Republic and Hungary so about 1200km. My friend was driving by himself for about 15 hours + 2x 2 hour stops and a few shorter ones to take pictures and shit (literally too). Wouldn't want any of us to drive so I suppose he was either fine with it or worried about his car :D
Also driving through Poland is like a totally different experience than USA or Canada or western europe because our roads are terrible. They are Italian/German-car destroyers, quite literally.

When I was a kid, me and my family drove down Sweden, down to the southernmost city in Norway, and back up to northern Norway. I'm not sure how long that was because we took detours several times, but thinking back, it felt like we drove for weeks. So that's what, 3000-4000 kilometers.

I haven't driven very far myself. I just never had anywhere to drive. Going by plane or boat beats driving. So maybe 4-500km in one go.

About 5000km, from Sydney to Perth. Roughly 6 hours of driving per day for 2 weeks. It was awesome.

I occasionally drive from Southampton to Galashiels on the Scottish Borders, which is 400 miles or so and takes anywhere from 6 1/2 hours to 9
