Anyone had experience with these guys?

I put a camera lens on Craigslist for sale and this dude contacted me, offered $130 more than I asked and wants it shipped to Nigeria!!

Im playing along right now, Ive told him its been shipped but its being 'held' pending approval of his funds...

He even sent me a fake email from paypal claiming I have been paid!

Anyway, Im gonna mess with him for a few more days (at least until midterms are over and I get back to my real life)

I was just trying to buy a used car on craigslist. Couldn't even tell you how many scams there were with people in the army and shit like that. You do have to be stupid to get robbed though

^sort of. a lot of people have suv's and shit, big ones at that but i dont like em too much so I got a smaller one. I could have easily made due with a normal car but I go snowboarding and shit so yaah

We agreed on the price of $9,000. It's an '03 black on black leather yadda yadda, it's cool

^Anybody ask the Nigerian girl about it? Seems like she snitching to her cousins.

Lol no, she's a nice girl who has loads of cash, a great job, and comes from a rich family. I think it's more to do with my brother living in Nigeria, staying in different hotels and whatnot, obviously he meets a lot of people and they know a lot of his information.

I made a thread similar to this about when i sold my Nokia N95 about a year ago.

i too played along with the Nigerian and he began to get frustrated. he was asking me to send him the shipping item number before he sent me the payment. so basically he wanted me to send the phone to him before i received the payment, yea okay, whatever... so i frustrated him.

i feel quite guilty now that i think of it. he, being powerless in all this (all the way in america) could do nothing about getting the phone sent to his son in nigeria, in time for his birthday. gosh.

Oh, he actually lives there? I'd say poor guy but he must be living like a King. Does he have his own rebel army in the Nigerian Delta? :p
