Casio introduces Watch that Communicates with PC

Japanese consumer electronics company Casio Computer Co has introduced to its domestic market, a watch that can exchange data with a personal computer. The PC X HBX-100J uses infrared data technology to communicate with the PC, enabling the management of personal data. When data on the watch or the PC has been updated, a synchronizing function ensures data is consistent. It has a 24Kb memory capacity and the attached data exchange software for the PC runs on Windows 95. The watch is available in stores in Japan as of yesterday, prices $200.
would be cool to have one, it'd be like knightrider ...

I do not own a watch, because it is not 1989.

I use my phone to tell the time like normal people. And my phone is more powerful than this piece of shit could ever be. LMAO at 24kb memory capacity.

I use a watch to tell the time because I don't wear my phone on my wrist nor do I have phone goggles. I'd rather be able to get the time by a flip of my wrist than having to unhook a phone from my belt clip and then hook it back.

What the hell kind of personal data can you even store using 24kb? One text file? lol

EDIT - That article was from 1998.

Yeshua you just failed EPICALLY. Are you a caveman or something? My fucking toilet is more technologically advanced than this piece of shit.

irrelevant to the time of the article and its lack of technological advancements ... what is more to the fact and relevance is that you fail to think outside the box casey, too busy caught up in the technicalities of your own toilets' shit processor

I can personally guarantee I think more "outside the box" than you do. But that's so obvious to everyone else here that it barely needs stating.

I hope you are very happy with your outdated watch technology. Hey, did you hear about this awesome new program called Windows 3.1? I hear it's awesome, perhaps you should buy a copy.
