If you picked up the Pac's Life album, peep a song I produced called "Soon As I get Home", Pac picked this beat (and others) over the phone, he listened to like 2 bars and said "track that one".
The master to this song was lost some time ago, apparently someone recently happened to come across the 2 track master (DAT) in a closet somewhere. So what yo hear on the album is Tupac laying down a rough vocal over a 4 bar loop. It's completely unmixed.
So for all the people who wanted to hear him uncut, that's it right there, as you can tell at the top of the first chorus, you can hear someone pull the level down on the chorus vocals as they first come in, they start off really loud and come down. Listen for it.
Other than that, I'm glad that they found this one, big up to Afeni, Molly & Dina at the Estate.
