Its not going platinum for awhile if it ever does.. The way it looks it wont even be going gold for awhile either.. If it sold 50 k last week, then this week probaly only like 30.. :-/

this is basically the feedback from loyal to the game... most people are boycotting because of that awful shit... too bad for LT "Jabba The" Hutton... looks like he won't ever touch pac's music again... imo, he did a shit job anyway... people seem to say pac's life is good but that shit is pop as hell... and international is like someone on fruity loops attempting to do a crunk song...

Here's a question, let's say the album sells 500k in the US and 500k worldwide. Is it still considered a platinum album even though it's only certified gold by teh RIAA?

Sad! Pac's life aint that bad.. There are some good songs on it like Dumpin for example (Fatal's flow is sick). The thing is they dont promote the album right

Thank God this album isn't selling. Amaru has been officially slapped. The album has even sold too much. It's done about over200,000 in 2 or 3 weeks or so. Hopefully on the next lp, they'll leave MOST of the music alone and give better promotion and a better video.

ACTUALLY, even the cd aint that bad compared to lttg but if it doesnt sell that much amaru might not bother with releasing any more albums cause it wont make them any money

These albums are going to always make them money, even if it stopped selling at Gold. So 'low sales = no more albums' may not be true.

As it is often publicly stated, no one gets paid for their work on Pac's albums. So that alleviates a big cost. And the videos are made rather cheaply. And little is spent on advertising as we all know. They spend so little in comparison to what other record companies spend to promote their upcoming albums - of course, those other record companies are also generating a great deal more in sales, but hey. That's business.

are you sure? to my knowledge, I believe it was only Eminem who never got paid for his work on Resurrection.
