Tear Drops and Closed Caskets

It sounds better that way to me. With the "in this world" part it extends too long, sometimes intruding into the next rap verse. Perhaps that was why.

EDIT: I just listened to them back-to-back, and I wish that Amaru Records could treat the OGs the way this song was treated. They actually trimmed out a part that we could do without, added some nice vocals (Val Young in this case) that matched the song well, and added some more elements to the instrumental that made the song sound much fuller and richer.

but after you listen to the original, the released one sounds empty :(

still I agree, this isnt much to complain about compared to the Loyal to the Game album

ok, we know everyone's opinion on LTTG. would people just stop complaining about it in every thread, especially those that have nothing to do with the album? damn, it feels like people diss it just to be accepted.

when you add periods you make it sound more empty than it is. moreover, nate's singing is slightly off-key in the og. you can so easily tell it was a rough take and would have gotten re-done before release.

That little vocal cut made a big difference, and the way the song starts with just drums, I hate the released version, like Bank Robber said that little missing line makes it sound empty.

Listen 2 Roxette - It must ve been love. Then you know where QD3 took it from. I personaly like the intro, just it's a shame he touched the song and made it sound empty. And then i'm not talkin bout nate's part.

^ Roxette - It Must Have Been Love? I thought the drums were taken from Roger n Zapps - Computer Love? Also the chorus was pulled from LTD's - Love Ballad, and they might have had to cut out the last part because of sampling issues, meaning they had to pay more for the rest of the hook, so they just chopped it. I agree that Nate was off key on the OG tho

I like the Retail version alot. Its one of my favorite songs. Thank God we have it in CDQ and its closest to the original with not too many changes!
