if you have the time and money, by all means go for it.
are you planning on doing most of the restoration on your own? ... cause having a shop weld in replacement floor boards will cost you up the arse in labour.

I know a few welders and bodywork technicians, so I should get a decent price.

But now I've found another car I want. Means I have to get it inspected and imported though as I'm in UK and it's in UK.

man good luck getting that thing restored

your going to need the patience of a married man to complete that thing

a few of my friends have gotten into there eyeballs with restoration work and only a couple made it out with there sanity ;)

Yeah I've seen some good "shitters", kinda worried about getting hold of parts though. Still I won't have the money for a while anyway. Maybe I'll buy a rental property instead. It'll make me money, but not as much fun.
