Now, with your help, I can fix the mistake I made 5 years ago - as an 18-year-old, financially-unintelligent high school graduate.
Fuck her! I'm 17k in debt because my parents didn't have enough money to pay my school since they lost it all in the fucking war. Fuck you, you cunt with your "unintelligent mistakes"!!!!

I'm pissed off. I'll be donating a big bag of shit to her.

17k in debt? Thats quite a lot.
It's pretty rare, I think, that in Canada that a student loan will go passed 20-30K... Obviously, in Hizzys case it was a misfortune from the war, so it's not really his fault, nor his family... an unfortunate series of events... but this girl is at 200 000....

lol @ Hizzy :D

Then again, there's no worries for me though, we'll just sell one of our apartments in Bosnia or Croatia and that'll pay off my studies and a new condominium. :)

That also works... lol. Since an apartment in Dalmacija goes for as much as Sebastian's life - which is quite a lot. :)

You want me to pay because you wanted the ultimate college experience? Hale to the no. You just spent damn near quarter million on an undergrad Sociology degree.

You are dumb...fo real.

From what I understand, you can't declare bankruptcy if you have a federal student loan but her loan appears to be a private one. So I think she can default on them and declare bankruptcy and start with a clean slate, which is the best option for her. She's young, she'll be able to build her credit back up to a reasonable level starting after the 5 years or whatever the time line is.

She has both federal and private loans.
