Ashanti just sampled Blasphemy and featured Jim Jones on the song and called it, "I Won't Deny It". I never heard the song but from some comments I read, I'm hearing ass or whatever. I didn't even bother.

I'm tired of all these current artists taking classic original 2Pac songs and s**tting all over it. Classic songs need to be left alone. Is the Makaveli album going to be stripped and remade before the century is over. All of the man's standout songs are becoming hits for people like Cam'ron & Jay-Z. Hail Mary, Me & My Girlfriend, Now Blasphemy. Maybe I'm overreacting but I'm pissed.

Whenever artists are thrown on a track with Pac, it's like they feel they can just sample or redo his work. From 50, Ja, Tyrese, Nas. and now Ashanti. It's more I'm even forgetting I think. I'm just sick of this.

When I finally bother to listen to the track, I better hear Pac's voice or at least a reference to him on this remake.

This is a fucking stupid thread and goes to show how little knowledge people have with regard to the music industry. It's staggering how people refer to beats Pac rapped over as being "Pac Samples". Pleeeeaaasse.

1. A Producer is responsible for making the beat.
2. Nine times out of ten, that producer sampled another song / selection of songs to make the beat.

The songs you hear Pac rap over are not PAC SAMPLES. A producer merely gave 2Pac a beat which he thought was hot and wanted to rap over.

I recall that the Blasphemy beat was produced by Hurt M Badd who used two other samples to make the music, if fans of artists who originally used those samples took the same attitude as you, Pac would have never got the opportunity to rap over the beat in the first place.

So shut the fuck up.
