I have seen Tupac credited alongside this quote for years. I thought that I'd seen or read every interview he'd done, and I can't recall him ever saying this.

Does anyone know when or where this was originally said?

it's one of those famous 2pac quotes but yeah I think I don't remember him saying that too

It's pretty big - I don't think it's from the Vibe interview, but it's from one of those magazine interviews I think. I remember seeing it in a book. Check "Resurrection" or "Legacy" or - I think it's this last one - that book put out by Vibe that had most of his magazine stories in it.
