The OG isn't the true OG; it's a re-worked version of the song made while Pac was still alive. It's been discussed time and time again that the true OG used the same Michael Jackson sample as "Letter 2 My Unborn". If you don't believe me, listen to the Pac interview (from In His Own Words) where he says something like "I just made a remix for 'What'z Ya Phone #', it is so freaky, you will not believe it. I used that MC Lyte song 'Keep on... moving up'" (which also samples the same Michael Jackson song). And on the old bootlegs, what was the alternate title for Thug in Me? "What'z Ya Phone # (Remix)" And what does Pac say at the beginning of the "OG"? "I like that beat that MC Lyte got." So it was recorded over that beat, then remixed again with the more seductive beat.
