its horrible, the last 3 years have felt like a year long, since iv left school things just fly by,
and since iv been working, the last 3 months has gone past as quick as a week does.
i start work at 4am, that might have somethin to do with it, anyway, i want it to stop.
ill be 18 soon, then ill be 21, and soon enough 30 will come around. anyone else feel that way

also another problem of mine is im tied in a job for 4 years. and although i dont mind workin and money and such, really want to travel, i always have.

mihgt not be in order, but there just some random thoughts i felt as though i had to post
maybe

Yeah time goes quick, but you're still young. In the context of life as a whole, 3 or 4 years is nothing. Wait till your 60 or 70, then you'll probably feel like decades went by in a flash! Just make sure you make time to stop and enjoy it.

Yeah i feel da same its funny cause i know how when im really bored id be thinkin to myself how dam slow the times goin but when a week passes by i jus think thats another week of my life gone in a flash, and with the drama's and stress nowadays sometimes i like to think when i was back in school and livin without a worry in the world

damn, that's a sobering thought. But I recently travelled to Kashmir and a day there was going by like two days in englad. We would wake up really early and the day felt like it was draggin on for ever. because village life there was really slow. there was no entertainment like tv and video games to waste time on.

I totally agree Grimes.... but it's just part of life and the growing process. And like me, you're working full time (I started full time at 18 as well), and it just seems like we've matured too fast and are missing out on the good times that we should be enjoying.

It's tough to deal with, but there are ways around these feelings. You just gotta find the answers yourself.

yeah i've been feeling the same way ever since i graduated HighSchool....cause now i'm 20 years old...turning 21 this July...and the years 17 to 20 went by unbelieveably fast...and it made me realize that there is no time to waste cause it feels like 5 mins. ago i was a 15 or 16 year old running wild not giving a fuck now i'm about to be 21 and i have matured a great deal but sometimes i still feel like that 15 or 16 year old at heart..............

but my theory is this when you're young you are living basically a stress free life...cause when you're young you don't have too many responsibilities.....well, atleast i know i didn't have too many...my only responsibility was to go to school and i didn't even take care of that responsibility 100% of the time...so i had a lot of free time...so when you don't have too many things on your plate and the only thing you have to worry about is what party you are going to this weekend...life seemed to pass me by at a slow and steady pace.....

but when you get older you have to take on a lot more responsibilties and there are more things on your mind that you have to worry about constantly...like how to pay your bills, college..you know shit like that. So when there are a lot of things on your mind all the time that deal with the well being of your livelyhood you tend to not have time to think about how fast or slow time is going until it's too late when 5 years or more have already passed you by and you realize that your youth is completely gone
