Treach Speaks on 50 Signing 2pac And More On Hot97.

I just thought I would share this with you guys incase this doesn't make headlines or anything.

Today on the Miss Jones morning show, Treach was interviewed by Miss Jones and her crew about the Naughty By Nature reunion and during the interview one of the hosts asked questions about pac.

When asked about Pac and something we didn't know about him, Treach said, pac was a family man, and didn't bite his tongue for no one, and basically kept it real. He said Pac was also a joker and a comedian and wasn't just going around shooting everything up like people think.

Also Miss Jones asked about 50 wanting to sign 2pac's catalogue and that he wanted to be in control because of his quiet releases and lack of promotion. Treach said well it would be something that Afeni would have to approve of, but thinks it's a good idea if it was to go through because he says 50 is a businessman and is a fan of pac. He said it would definitely be a good move.

Edit: In addition Treach also said when pac got shot it was only his mother by his bedside while he was taped up and that nobody else was there. He said none of his soldiers or the people that he rolled with was at the hospital. He said after that pac kept a very tight close circle.

Look at it this way. All Tupac releases get very little, to zero, promotion and there are no more than one released for each of them. G-Unit releases get promoted to death, play on the radio, and tons of videos. I hate for Pac to sign with the devil, but that might be what has to happen in order to resurrect the legacy.

At first I was surprised with Treach's response because I thought Treach of all people would have a problem with it, but he didn't. He seemed quite positive about it. I remember when Treach threatened Jay-Z that he would fight him if he dared sample another pac song again after bonnie & clyde 02. I guess if Treach doesn't have a problem with it, I won't then. I wonder what Treach thought about lttg and the lttg remix track that he was originally on, which ironically had 50 doing the hook, the gunit on it, and pac saying gunit. Only if I was a radio host, I would ask all these things.

as long as he dont change the music and besides if treach says it would be ok then he must trust 50 but i dont even like 50 anymore but who knows he might not change the music anymore or release it in og form???

50 wiLL promote the shit outta the aLbum. Theres been 2 many QUIET reLeases. and Pac wasn't a quiet guy. My only hope is that the beatz aren't stupid, and the guest rapperz R reasonable. (no g unit on every other song).

Yeah but when you put G-Unit in control, obviously you will get only them on the guest features and no one that pac was ever down with. Seeing any west coast artist Pac's worked with would be a fans dream when 50's in control

lmao, it could be well promoted and have good production but having 50 and G-unit on over 6 tracks makes me not wanting Pac to be sign on g-unit...

See Blood money by Mobb deep... trash

Watch your wording. 50 is not "signing" Pac. You can't sign dead rappers to your label. 50 just wants to executive produce the next Pac album and oversee its development.

i doubt id like the album any more if 50 executive produced it, im just not that into most of the music that comes out of that camp. it MIGHT do better, but then again it might not, its not a guarantee just cuz 50 has something to do with it

He did it before, guess hes gonna sign again.....but in favor of his legacy this would be an essential move to keep it alive.
