It occured to me recently: I have never seen so many pictures/footage of one person, than I have of Tupac!

Aside from movies, and maybe even his music videos; it seems everywhere he went there was someone with a camera. Why is that?

Also, who is Blackwatch? Pac mentions them as to filming him so much. And what is that quote where Tupac talks about realising what the cameras are for (what did he mean by this)?

the short answer is that he was a celebrity topped by the fact that he was always in the news from his never-ending court cases. i was in line at walmart yesterday thinking that as i saw britney on the covers of 100 different rags i'm sure pac would have been on about as many if he were still living. the public has an insatiable appetite for dirt on stars and it's a billion dollar industry feeding the demand.

most performers go on regular photo shoots for various pr outlets. afeni probably has a lot, but definitely not all. i'm sure there's a lot out there that was done professionally that would only surface as the artist requests to use or sell them.

short answer is that pac was an interesting guy so there's a reason for the quantity, but some asshat like lil wayne probably has almost as much tucked away but the demand isn't really there yet.

Yeah since ali won the olympic light heavyweight gold he was always on camera, that's why i have no interest in watching will smith play ali in a movie! His life story was caught on camera.

Some people just knew the importance of cameras, Regan (as in president) was said to be aware of events with cameras thus would make sure to place himself near or around them, making himself accessible (I heard that the Rehan presidental photo album totals well over a million).....no doubt Pac was aware as well (he was after all very photogenic)
