Was there ever something you were about to post here but decided not to.

The title says everything. Have you ever had a situation where you wrote something and then erased it ? If so what was it and why you haven't posted it?

This idea was born after a strange situation I had lately.
So a few days ago I drunk-posted here and made a thread.
A day after I was also drunk and made a long ass reply to my own post from a day before.
I was about to post it when I noticed that the original thread was made by me myself. I even quoted myself! lol
That's a true story.

LoL, this reminds me of the an incident here on the board that Thuggy mentions from time to time. Someone quoted himself and actually criticised what he said in his first post in the thread.....or something similar. Hilarious.

To answer your question: Yes, it happened a couple of times to me. For example, i write a serious response to something and then later on i realise that all i will get is a stupid answer.

Every day, normally in response to a post by Da_Funk, then i remember there is no point in arguing with retards and decide to just leave the thread instead.

not very often. either because i realize what i was about to post was just plain dumb, or because the whole idea of posting it came from the passion of a moment. say i'm building up irritation for something, or thrill about something, and halfway into writing the post i realize it wasn't really that big a deal.

then again, i some times go through with those posts as well.

You shouldn't be talking. The stupid shit I post I know is stupid. You on the other hand post retarded shit and actually believe in it.

what sebastian said, i will write something serious and try to make points then someone always comes out with "thats gay" or "you're stupid" or some shit, so i quit posting serious shit.

Most of my posts now are pretty stupid and very rarely serious.. most of the responses to serious stuff just gets a stupid answer..there are very few people who constructivley contribute to this board

I guess Ive become a much more 'cynical' member now :(
