What Does Pre Mix Mean?

I seriously think that I was the 1st around here to start using that term... since soundclick terminated my site I really have no proof 2 show you, on one of my remixes (BIG - Nasty Boy (Krysis Remix)) I ended up redoing the beat so I labeled the first copy a pre-mix, as it came out b4 the remix that I later used, its just some good ol fashioned slang

pre-mix is a term we used to use on our old 4 track machines... basically an unfinished mix, that has not undergone a final mixdown yet. pre-mix started with this pac stuff with thugz mansion and ncuba previews that were on the amaru site and were noticably different than the lp versions. ...yep, unfinished mixes.
