Why Did Pac Die?

I always thought someone with a good heart wouldn't go out like that, I've seen worse people live longer, Al Capone lived a longer life than 2pac Shakur. Hitler lived a longer life than Tupac, how does this system work? That good people die young and evil people live long.
I'll answer your question on a serious note. In all honesty, there are myriad reasons why Tupac died at age 25 but you could make the generalization that he was at odds with the world, with society, with himself. He was born into a life that scorned him, exploited his people. He was angry, depressed, bitter, indignant, out of control and outspoken. He was pretty much on the road to self-destruction from a young age and although he implored and pleaded for help in songs and interviews, no one intervened and he was unable to save himself. And part of the reason he never did save himself is because he really didn't want to - he didn't want to be here. For Tupac, life was synonymous with pain, torment and anguish and he wasn't happy here. This evident dichotomy helped do him in - his realization that there were "two people inside of [him]. One wants to live in peace, the other won't live unless he's free." Obviously, there were many underlying factors and several obvious ones, but I think this gets at the heart of what you're asking.

i think one of the reasons he kept talking so much shit about biggie and other east coast rappers was because he knew it would end in his and biggies death. thats how he knew he would die. but who knows, the reason stated above mine sounds right too

Tupac died because his lung collapsed. His lung collapsed because a bullet from the gun that was used to try and kill Tupac had punctured his lung.

my 2 cents worth.

just think how many rappers and other rap related people he crossed in his time !!!
Nas, Jay-z, Biggie and puffy, mobb deep, chino xl, jimmy hencemen, U.S goverment, the list is endless.....

i know what rappers say u take with a pinch of salt but come on if u upset that many people surely someones gonna say f**k it lets kill that fool and eventually it happened.

He expected it and deep down we all knew it was only a matter of time. BUT thats probably why we all loved his style because he said it so black and white so there was no confusion with his thoughts.

My opinion, u guyz are forgetting his strength! Listen to how powerful he was. Even on the recent song "Untouchable",(not recent but remixed", how can u say he wanted 2 die? Just humor me, and play it one time. Im not saying the album version. I have a remix which does it better justice, but i mean listen to how alive he was and.......NOBODY COULD TOUCH HIM. He didnt want to die, just to live in peace.

^ he wanted to live in peace but he also knew in his heart that he would never be able to, at least not in today's society. Having come to that realization in his youth, he was not afraid of dying.

"my only fear of death is reincarnation"

If you think about how powerful that statement is, because it basically says:

My only fear of death is the possibility that I might have to return to life in this world

pretty bleak
