We used to get most things from Walmart.

10% was around the difference like you guys said, plus, my ex had a 10% discount too. So, we usually bought our stuff there.

With the $ saved, we would go out or buy nutritional stuff elsewhere.

I don't understand all the hate for Wal-mart.

I mean, yah, they have this evil thing to them, but for now that's what I have to do, now more than ever since I am single.

Bah it's the same brands plus a couple of cheaper noname Walmart brands... Don't see the big issue. I don't buy clothes or anything that is important to be good quality. I don't buy food there either but only cause there's no point going so far when there are 3-4 grocery stores around my place that are closer. I guess I'd buy random stuff like towels or pens, pencils and other things like that there.

Don't go often there though, too packed I hate it. And always huge line ups. Time is money. That 10% is wasted in time lost waiting to pay.

I prefer to get fresh produce from little, specialised stores that you'll find on the corner somewhere. Unfortunately, where I live we don't have any of those (except a couple of Asian stores here and there). But if you travel out further west of Sydney, that's where you'll find all the migrant communities; Indian, Lebanese, Vietnamese etc etc. They're the one's who usually serve nice, fresh meat, beautiful sweets and confectioneries, fresh produce etc etc. The real high quality shit.

cuz wal-mart is the shit, hahahaha... sorry I've never heard that question before, Everyone I know shops at either

No Frills or Food Basics (toronto/canadian dudes know what I'm talking about).. maaayyyybbe wal-mart if its convenient.

I'm sure it makes a difference, but I guess everybody doesn't have the luxury of buying the greatest quality produce and what not. But when it comes to boxed items, its the same brands everywhere so it doesn't even matter, why not go where u can save

But its funny cuz even with boxed shit, most people still deal with the 'no name' brands to save a buck or two
