Why tupac is NOT an overrated rapper.

Let's just face it, people love to hate on 2pac lately on the following reasons: He is loved by too much people. The ignorant, the mass and the bad ones use Pac as their influence why people get a wrong idea on 2pac and his legacy.

Eastcoast-lovers always love to hate on 2pac cause he just Owned the whole eastcoast back then by dissing every so called Hiphop-truely rapper, what they didnt understand, the eastcoast rappers who probably were the ones representin' Hip Hop as a Kulture were snitchin' on eachother and dissobay the rules of Hip Hop. (Except for people like KRS One, Public Enemy, etc).

Now those things already explain the furious rage of people hatin' on Pac. They're just lost in their stupid ass jealousy of a westcoast rapper that at end turned to the mass.

----------------------------

Now, for the next thing, why are people sayin' Pac's albums are not near classics, are wack, or in every way not good enough for their eyes and ears if they dont know SHIT about music.

If you want to judge like the critics did on Pac (and they actually said Pac's joints were classics). You need to have the same knowlegde as they have about music. Like myself over the past 3 years I've been reading, learning and doing more music than most people can handle. I've been going back to the 20's till now to understand what production is all about. I've been learning and memorising whole books of productions/recordings and set ups of songs to understand what a song makes a good song.

Now, with that knowlegde I've been listening to most artists their music over again. And also Pac's, cause he's always been one of my favourits, and as I came to the truth I would hate on some simple Pac joints cause the mass audience was listening to it, I came to the fact it's just cause I can't stand people listening to them Pac joints without understanding what theyre listening to, cause after 2 minutes they refresh that joint with some kind of crappy Lil-Weezy joint, thats just faul.

I've been lookin' over productions of all the Pac albums and I came to conclusions I rarely knew about I would find them.

2pacolypse now - It wasn't a chartstopper, and it has a reason for it, cause the album ain't fully perfected as it should be around that time. Ofcourse Pac's flow is amazing at some songs (the fast-rappin' at the intro etc). But sometimes it's also sloppy as hell or the beats just won't do and can't be compare rightly to the beats Dre or Public Enemy were makin' around that time. So I considered it a good album for a debute, but it wasn't the best album of the time.

Then in 93 it was the album Strictly For My N.I.G.G.A.Z. that shows Pac's known rage in songs. As I sit back and listen to the amazing delivery he shows off on every song, I'm very impressed, but a little bit dissapointed about some of the beats that just don't match around that time and were outdated. Altho a couple of AMAZING songs are on that album. Some of the beats or songs just ain't 93, since we had ATCQ and Main Source doin' way sicker things beatwise. It's not bad at all, but that makes the conclusion this album wasn't a classic aswell.

But what shows the album called Thug Life? A, maybe lyriclywise simple, but amazing delivery done by all the rappers on amazing grimey beats done on this 10 track CD. Every song has his own temper and way it should be listened too. And 2pac shines out the whole CD as an true artist who exactly knows how to handle the grimey beats and how to set the mood on the whole album. For me this one (I ratha consider as a LP) is a true classic since it cant be compared to other albums comin' out around that time and just smacks alot of easy going rappers down the ground of reality. So, Pac did it with Thug Life, he made a piece that must go in your time-line of Hip Hop.

Now, most greatest-rappers of all time only got 1, or 2 classic albums that made them as one of the greatest for that era. But what is amazing about Pac, he was still on the up rise.

Me Against the world came out in 1995 while 2pac was in jail. Now, I don't even need to explain why this album is a classic. Since it outsold any rapper at that time while Pac was in jail. And every, and I mean EVERY song on this album has a grimey, serious but GREAT production done by Johnny J, if I'm correct. It shows Pac in his most greatest way and the great mixing of the songs (by vocals and touch ups in the beats, like usin' drums on drums, or reverb and echo on breaks in the beats, not all the time, but only at 1 point or a few points) shows why this album is a classic. Pac deliveres amazing pieces of poetry on this whole album. Nobody ever hated on this album for being a bad album, cause it's not. It's the best album released that time and it still is.

Pac got out of jail and then followed up his then going on popularity with an monster hit of an album called All Eyez On Me. The mixing/productions on that album are beyond limits for that time, nobody could ever reach a double disc producted album like this. Since the most greatest producers of that time made that album, and we have classic westcoastrappers on the whole Double Disc, such as Snoop, Doggpound, E-40 and even eastcoast-rappers-Wu-tang. It had to be an monster hit. Why are people still sayin' there are alot of skit-tracks on that album? It's bullshit or it's a matter of taste. U can hate it or love it, but the fact is that every single song on this double Disc is considered a great song cause of his production, mixing, the usage of vocals in the song, and of the lovely vocals of Pac, since he really set the mood on the whole album. It already went platinum in 4 hours! So it's crazy to dislike this piece of art since it also was done in 2 weeks. For somebody with an ear of mixing, productionwise and the usage of vocals on this joint, will consider with his knowlegde that, this album also is a classic.

The same album that came out around that time called The 7th Day Killuminati shows 2pac his amazing rage and delivery and it shows why Pac is lyricly also a great mc. He talks about alot of AMAZING subjects and I won't even name all the quotes he puts in this album. Ofcourse some of his vocals may go sloppy with or without the dubs, but the beats were before their time and it shows a great production on this great message Pac made. He beats up people their careers on this album, he tells the truth, he makes a great statement. The only reason why you could hate on this album is cause of the fast way Pac recorded it while makin' slightly mistakes in the dubbin' of his vocals. To me this album is done in a George Clinton way, and it has the productions that got done so correctly, it almost tells why The Beatles got make such an amount of hits in a short time, since it has the same way of makin' fast, groundbreaking productions. So for me, cause these stats, it is also a classic.

Why would I come up with all this for callin' out Pac's albums classics. Well, it is because most people don't know these albums I just rated have the same quality and handling of albums done by all-time great artists like George Clinton, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Van Morrison, and people who did great joints in their time-line. I compared artists such as Prince and Micheal Jackson and the others I named to the way all the sounds and vocals were handled on the albums I just named a classic. Therefor, I know it in my knowlegde these albums ARE classics, since it has also been proven by the amount of sales and the status they've gain since all these years. Ofcourse u can hate this whole album, ofcourse you can hate a few songs, or love them again after a matter of time, but since I'm talkin' in a view of a producer/CEO or somebody who's lookin' for potential classics. I call out these albums of Pac. You got alot of different tastes in music. U can hate or love music from Bach and Mozart, ofcourse it's boring and annoying at times for some people. But since it shows a great art and amazing composition of how its made. U can't deny its a classic. This shows the same for the last 3/4 album's Pac came with before his death. So therefor he IS the greatest rapper of all time and NOT overrated.

Now as a last thing, I would like to say, the album Until The End Of Time can also be considered as a, classic album, it has been rated by most critics as an great album. And it made amazing sales when it was released. Ofcourse alot of fans maybe hate it, but no, the hooks done on this album are perfectly done and matched on the songs. The vocals dont slip or show false notes. And true the whole album you hear great-clean productions and MAYBE simple beats, but that's why I love it, cause of the easy, but hard and clean drums used to make it a good piece of work. Also, just listen to the beats how they match now-known beats Dre is working on. It almost shows the same. So therefor, even if yall would like to disagree with me, this album is a classic and best album of that time.

My conclusion: Don't hate on someone who've just done it alot better than you and your idols. Pac-haters.

I'm not going to read this shit. But yes he is over rated in a sense that people make him out to be the "perfect MC" which in fact he wasn't IMO.

some peoples make the Wutang or Nas to the best mc´s ever touched the mic, my opinion is. pac was the only MC or rapper or man in hiphop who ment it real to the issues, and got the passion to speak it out, when i listen to him, its a perfect picture in which struggles he went through. it dont need to know him personally, he was real, alone by his deliver energy and goddamn emotions

i listen to pac, coze imo he was by far the most serious rapper, he dont want party shit, ok a few tracks ok fuckin girls is a part of life, but 99% of his tracks were fuckin serious

and which rapper made a speech at the malc x room hää`? he lived for the serious thing

Yea because he was part of the new african panthers. He always said he wanted to make a difference and he was always against killing, teen pregnancy, gangsters, and all that shit.
Other rappers talk about them murdering people and shit like that cuz they think it makes em look hard. Pac looked hard all the time even while talking against killing and all that other shit. Thats why everybody knew he was real, thats what made em hard.

I could give a fuck less what room he made a speech in. 2Pac is not the perfect rapper that some people try to make him out for. There is NO perfect rapper.

thats correct. there is no perfect anything on this world, but pac had the motivation the lyrics to motivate others, and he used the energy and his poetry skills to help people, ok after he died no ass was movin and made his work done.

but say what u got to say, he lived for a serious principal, he was a well known example of what happens in the ghetto if u point the real out in the direct way...and to become so famous like pac in just 5 years is great, wit alot of movies and alot of songs

hes not perfect , but legendary in any aspect of what a rapper or a human in generally can reach in few years out from really nothing
