My download speed just clocked in at 8.9 mb/s on that site, but I've hit 10 mb/s before when it's not peak usage time.

:(

I'll order a 100mbps (which is the fastest internet speed for casual users my cable company offers) just to win this.

It costs 50$ or so but fuck that :p

8 meg down/1meg up ADSL tho it actual clocks in at nearer 5 down.

Unlimited data and no restrictions on p2p or torrents etc. £10 a month I think (subsidised by TV)

It's too crap in my part of the world to even talk about. Kenya just got linked to some under-sea fiber optic broadband cable but.................anyway, what I'm trying to say is that internet connections here for domestic use are crap.

/\ BT?

man fuck that shit, get yourself Virgin Media. BT uses the old copper cables still for transferring data, you need the modern fibreoptic cables to get the real speeds.

I used to have BT Broadband but I switched last in April, had Virgin Media since then. It's a cheaper deal, the internet is faster and I get 50 cable channels with it as well.

Copper cables work fine for me.
