A cat's surprise face

Actually I heard you can get nasty infections or something if you DON'T get your boys circumcised. Don't know how true it is but I've heard many doctors claim it over the years.

De-Clawing your cat is a very common thing, well, I guess in my country anyways. I never knew people had such a problem with it.
Like Artsy said, just because it's common (in the US) doesn't mean it's a good thing. Did you read why it's banned in a lot of countries? It'd be a good thing if you read up on it so maybe some time in your life you won't declaw your cat or you'll advise someone else not to declaw their cat.

From wikipedia: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), global estimates suggest that 30% of males are circumcised. If 70% of males have not been circumcised you could expect a lot of penis infections, which isn't the case lol. I've never read any convincing arguments for circumcision based on medical reasons and I've read the medicals reasons are myths too many times to count. Besides that I have enough faith in evolution to take proper care of our sexual organs. There are also risks involved when the circumcision isn't done properly.

De-clawing isn't the logical next step after your cat won't use a scratching post. Not having a cat is. I'm assuming your cat is de-clawed or something..

As much as I know (which isn't much) is that circumcising can reduce infection compared to uncircumcised.. But so does good hygiene. The thing that really makes me think if I have a boy I'm not gonna choose it is the pain he must feel. Babies wear nappies so not only must it sting when they pee but they sit around in it til you change them. Ouch. Would need a massive upside to put a baby through that.

I find the expressions cute but see cats as evil, cunning creatures.
I agree 100%. Tried living with a cat before.. once as a child. Evil thing constantly attacked my feet. Another time as an adult.. worst months of my life. It was a really cool looking HUGE cat. About 30 lbs. but he was the worst. So many items he broke, scratches, bites, >.<

I don't see how it's any different from a vagina. Hate to be gross but there are all kinds of crevices and folds in a vajay that make it similar if not worse to an uncircumcised penis in terms of bacteria getting trapped in there. Somehow we manage to clean ourselves properly. Most of us anyway. I wouldn't want to cut off parts of my daughters vagina so why would I do it to my son. I don't know how old you are but when I was younger I just thought I'll circumcise my son bc that's how it's done in my family but once I got older and started thinking about my own kids...I just couldn't do that to my baby. They usually don't use anesthesia either :(

It's called washing your damn willy on a daily basis, and you won't get infections. I keep my junk so clean that it smells potpourri. That's whats up.

And rightfully so. If you or your precious couch don't wanna get a small scratch from time to time, don't get a cat

It's like getting a huge friendly Dalmatian and then complain it's slobbering and drooling all over the house.
Hey... :(

My cat attacks me when I use the computer, she then sits infront of the screen so I have to move her. Why does she do this?! Because she wants to play with the shoelaces she randomly found in the house. She plays with them all day :wondering: freak.

Anyone who believes circumcision is acceptable or even remotely necessary is a fucking moron.

As previously posted - it's called good hygiene. Have a shower every day and wash properly under there and you'll be fine.

Nala does this. Right where the keys are. It's one of two things, the cat wants to be the center of attention (common). Or wants to utilise the warmth from the laptop.

Nala loves hair-ties and pens.

Cats don't like me. I dunno why. My mom's cat goes into hiding when I'm over. She meows angrily when I approach her, bites me, and scratches me.

I'm a dog person anyways. At least my pup is happy to see me when I'm home. He does a little dance every day when I come back.
