^^true. he hasnt scored that often but still he does a lot in games which is alot more than can be said for some of the other players we have. it doesnt help that he is effectively on his own without a decent out and out striker beside him.

Suarez is class. Just not a predator in front of goal.

As for Carroll. I have to admit it. I am a big fan. I think he is a handful in the air, and has an amazing left foot. I think Liverpool came too soon for him. If a club could get him for £12 million, and not have to rush him into their first 11, or play to his strengths.... He'd be a bargain.

Yeah I like Suarez. Awesome player who would benefit with playing alongside a proper number 9.

Carrick and Evra at CB. Valencia and Fryers (is that his name?) at full back.

Yeah we had Valencia at RB, Evans, Carrick, Evra. Evans went off so Evra played at centre back and Fryiers played at left back.

Our midfield of Giggs and Gibson is our worst ever.

I watched the game. Wigan offered nothing. Nani was great.

they beat Wigan 5-0 with that team.

and beat Fulham 5-0 last week,

this is after Ferguson comes out and says he wants to be top by the new year. they close the goal difference drastically.

are they really that good? Basle beat them ffs.

No. This is the worst Man Utd side in years, however we are helped with the fact that Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal are all weaker. Man City and Tottenham are better than they used to be but the rest of the league isn't as good, Aston Villa, Everton, Wigan, Fulham are all weaker than previous years, only a few can say they have improved.

The same can be said for the rest of Europe bar the two big Spanish sides.

We are miles off Barcelona/Real Madrid. Imagine that midfield against Xavi/Iniesta. *shudders*

Hmm. Remember when Rooney was sent off in pre season and was banned for 3 league games? Then the same thing happened to a Liverpool/Arsenal player and they wern't banned? I forgot whether it was Arsenal or Liverpool. I remember when Man Utd fans brought it up no one said anything.

Its just a lack of consistency from the people in charge.

Chelsea/Man Utd/Liverpool fans all claim to be vicitimised by the FA the most.

But its true..the 2004/2005 team was probably worse. They failed to make it out the CL group also. When you fail to get past Basle, Galati and Benfica it shows the team is poor.

Ferguson needs a midfielder or two... There are players in the prem who could do the job. Scott Parker could have done a job for a couple of seasons. Whenever I have seen him for Spurs he has been fantastic.
