It's still early days in the league, lot of points to play for. I reckon we will beat Chelsea when we meet but I can't help feeling that Liverpool and Arsenal will beat us.

The winners of the Premiership will have the lowest points total for years IMO.

Every team looks like dropping points.

Arsenal have as much as a chance as Chelsea and Man U at the moment. Don't they also have a game in hand? If they win they're just 3 points away from Chelsea I believe.

I don't think that they drop points as much as the said "lower" teams keep winning points...

The EPL is getting better every year and I think that it's great to see smaller teams like Wigan, Stoke and such have great games.

Aston Villa are coming back to where they used to be 20 years ago and Tottenham are finally going somewhere after that "Team of the Decade" thing fell apart in mid 90s.

This is good for footy in England.

Nani is a weak piece of shite. Anderson isnt great either. A lot of money was spent on those two players and neither has lived up to expectations.

I remember reading about Anderson in World Soccer a few years back when he was at Porto. They described him as the new Ronaldinho. Well the only thing have in common is their hairstyle and nationality because Anderson is a different type of player and is nowhere near as good as Ronaldinho. That was a stupid comparison to make. Anderson is pretty average to me. similar to Lucas.

Anderson is talented. The Ronaldinho comparison is unfair on him, mainly because he has been moulded into a different player now. At Porto he played Attack midfield, Fergie has rarely if ever played him in that position, he played him in a defensive midfield role which isn't his position same as Lucas at Liverpool.

Anderson will become a good midfielder in the future, I've seen enough of him to realise that if he plays more attacking he will be awesome but Fergie doesn't trust him there. His first season Anderson would run past players for fun, he has been restricted to do this and its quite annoying as he can do it easily.

liverpool seem to score own goals on a regular basis now. every 15-20 games? im always seeing carragher put it in the back of his net, he was releived it wasnt him this time...

Liverpool will still finish 4th
I dont think so. Aston Villa almost finished 4th last season but they dropped alot of points in the 2nd half of that season and allowed Arsenal to claim that 4th spot.

Villa look far more solid this season with the signings of Dunne & Downing.
Also their star players, Young, Agbonlahor & Milner, have matured from last season and can only get better.

I can't see Villa or even Man City dropping enough points to allow Liverpool to leapfrog them into 4th/5th spot.

I don't think the teams mentally can cope being in the top four. Look at Tottenham they collapse as they enter the top four. Aston Villa did the same last season.

True but I think Villa have learned from last season.

Look at the Utd game yesterday for example.
Last season they outplayed and should have beaten Utd at OT but they ended up silly making mistakes and gave the game away. But yesterday they defended very well and saw utd off properly.

They've beaten Man Utd & Liverpool away this season so their confidence must be sky high.

It's still too early to say, but I still believe Villa or City will clinch that 4th spot.

I'm just dropping in to say that Wayne Rooney is a hypocrite.

Criticizing Eduardo for diving and he simulated/tried to simulate fouls in the box three times in the last month and a half.

No one asked him to say that he'd never dive, why would you go on and criticize "divers" when you, yourself, are one... I expect more from a man who gets more than 100.000 USD per week.

I would also like to add that Ferguson is annoying with his whining when it comes to added time. Today, he whined again against the added 3 minutes. I guess he wanted another 6 added minutes.

Man Utd has a great team this year and I've always respected them, but these two wankers are getting on my nerves.
