11/12 Premier League thread

^^yea Stearman kept going through the back of him and he hit him as well another time. Torres was saying fuck you to him by doing that.

the problem with Torres's form earlier this season was all down to the tactics. he was completely isolated in most of the games.

and you mention Rooney. ive found it funny how he has got no criticism despite only scoring 2 goals (one from a penalty and one v WBA) whereas Torres had the media on his back all the time even though he had something like 7 goals. Ferguson doesnt even see Rooney as his central forward player anymore. i wouldnt be surprised if he gets rid of him in summer. Man Utd have it in the bag imo. cant see Arsenal having the bottle and City arent good enough. Chelsea have fallen apart.

he has been impressive this season.

a fine footballer i have to admit.

you know Liverpool would have signed him back in January 2005 if we hadnt got Bayer Leverkusen in the last 16 of the champions league that season.

Yeah I don't have a problem with Torres doing that, RVN did it in a more funnier way against Andorra :D

Anyway Rooney has been poor to average, it was a joke he won MOTM against WBA, he has got 9 assists but his passing has been woeful at times and he just looks exhausted half the time. Hernandez deserves to start more.

Berba is a strange one though, he is class, he oozes it, but there are games when you feel he needs to give more, it's all good scoring hattricks against lesser teams ;)... but he needs to do it against the Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal's more often.

Chelsea win 4-0. Theyre right back in it now. Gaining some momentum, they can pull off some good victories against their title competitors. will take a lot clubs like united who have a great home record this season.

€115 million for Bale and Modric

Spanish giants Real Madrid are readying a €115 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur duo Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.

According to The Daily Star, Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his squad with the Spurs duo who have been star performers in the Barclays Premier League this season.

However, it will be a titanic tussle to prize the two players from White Hart Lane as Bale is reportedly finalizing a £100,000-a-week contract while Modric penned a new long-term deal last year.

With The Mirror reporting that Harry Redknapp wants to bring his former midfield general at Portsmouth, Lassana Diarra to North London, there could potentially be a deal on the table if both clubs are able to come to an agreement.

A loan deal for the rest of the season with the option to sign Diarra on a permanent basis is being mooted in the media.

All eyes will be on Spurs in the coming months as Europe's top clubs are all keeping tabs on the Welsh wizard and Croatian playmaker.
I'm pretty sure it's BS, but still some funny shit. lol
