Non-Urban Music Good Dance/Club tracks

#1
What are your favourite dance club tracks? I need some suggestions for my ipod, since I can put loads of music on there I can only come up with selected few.

I like Trance, happy hardcore mainly. I'd like to be able to define all the different types of dance music, being a raver is something that I have not exercised as much as I probably would have liked to have done. So that is probably why I have complications defining all the different types of dance music. I like to go out and buy a good dance CD, take it home, put it on loud with a good futuristic type racer computer game like Wipeout, get pissed and try the best to steer my craft, lol. All the time while enjoying a fast beat to a fast game.
A lot of music gets remixed into different styles, creating different effects, atmospheres, and sounds. Which is probably why it is difficult to define dance music, as it incorporates a lot of other different styles of music.

Some that have made my list so far include -

Paul Van Dyke's - For An Angel
Fragma - Tocas miracle (Club remix)
DJ Tiesto - Adagio for Strings
Flip & Fill vs Rank 1 - True Love Never Dies (Donna Williams)!
Friday Night Posse - Principle of Pleasure (Janet Jackson - Airwave Mix)!
Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto in search of sunrise remix)
Chicane ft Bryan Adams - Don't Give Up (Disco's Citizens version)
Darude - Sandstorm
The Warrior - Warrior (original club mix)
Baby D - Let me be your Fantasy
N-Trance - Set You Free
Interactive - Forever Young
Breeze & Styles - You're Shining
Scott Brown - Turn up the Music
Bang - Shooting Star
Force & Styles - Heart of Gold
Breeze - Let Me Fly

I have more, these are a few that come to mind. Don't know if anyone else out there likes listening to dance music while playing fast racer type games. F-Zero X, Yeah!

I am thinking my best that I know of. A Robert Miles track figures somewhere. I got his album Dreamland. Good. It figures somewhere in here. Faithless, Lasgo, Scooter maybe. I love all that stuff.

depends what aspects of house u look at.
U have old school house like frankie knuckles etc
Chicago house like sound republic
Tech house like bookashade
Prog house like Adam K
French House like Kris Menace
Detroit house like stacey pullen
Deep house like Ben Watt

House is too big of a genre on its own to classify
if your talking about pure house music as it used to be (very rarely are good house tunes coming through these days) look at:

Demon vs heartbreaker - You are my high (very fench tho)
Look at artists like Freemasons (older stuff), Modjo, Deep Dish (though it delvs into prog a bit).

Suss out www.beatport.com
Alot of DJ's use it as a centre for their music. 3 years ago when i first started DJing, it was the shit.. i'd spend an hour on it and walk out with 4-5 tracks. These days it takes alot of digging to find a good track but it's still the shit. I spend approximately 3-4 hours a night going through beatport and i might walk out with 1 track.. but there's alot of great music on their.

scooter.. trance
David guetta.. electro/electro-house/house (depending on what song)
benny benassi.. electro

See i think i still hold my old thoughts of dance music. It's shit! that's why i might be very picky and particular about the tracks and artists i choose hence the reason why i hate anything commercialised and big room.
Listen to tracks like
Atrium - I'm in love with you
Kaskade - It's you it's me
which is chilled out house music that makes you feel like you're in paradise

listen to Major Pax - Raising faith (Quillroaders remix) and you'll feel like crying once the vocal kicks in because how heavenly it feels yet the pain in her cry seems so real.

Listen to
Gui Boratto - Eurasia (gui boratto rework)
Gui Boratto - Like you (Supermayer remix)
Ben Watt - Just a blip
Dubfire - Roadkill
Thomas Schwartz - Jupiter calling
Deadmau5 - Faxing berlin
Sharam Jey - Feel Nobody
Trentemoller - Moan (Trentemoller remix)
Twotrups - The Cello track (Dub mix)
Chris SU & State of Mind - Deeper (original) <-- drum n bass
Grant Nelson - Je Suis Ta Drogue (Epic club mix)
Yousef & Steve mac - The idea
Ferry Corston - Fire
Artful Dodger (all about the stragglers album)
Tiger stripes - Song for edit (original mix)

i classify this as quality and it falls on large range of sub-genres of dance music.. It all carries some sort of emotion.. some sort of feeling.. I can listen to this when straight and enjoy it.. i can listen to it when i'm fucked up and enjoy it!

also.. adding to the list:
Jaunt - Travelling
Jaunt - Pulsar

French prog house. Jaunt is an alias of kirs menace who is a huge french producer. Along with alan braxe they have done some of the biggest tracks we know today. Part of the daft crew these guys are the shit!
Note: Daft crew is not daft punk! though Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo & Thomas Bangalter are both part of it!

daft punk - around the world
I'm a massive Daft Punk fan. I still have the cassette single of 'Around The World' which I purchased back in 1997. At one time I had the cassette single of 'Da Funk' as well which came out in 1996 and had a B-Side that wasn't on the album, but eventually came out on a compilation years later.
