? That makes no sense. You werent around then really, and hundreds of people posted here, this forum was bumping with activity back in the day. I think that HitEmUp.Com was something like the 34th most popular forum on the internet. And there is thousands of forums around.
I remember there were even forums that tried to steal HitEmUp'S style and were copycats.

HitEmUp was fun, cause of losers like C-Dub, MikeShaw and Paz... Lets not forget that big tub of lard with the curly hair. I forget his name but he looked like Chief Wiggum.

Shut up faggot.

Your right, but my guess is hitemup brought probably half those posters to this site. Once hitemup died its inevitable that this place would slip into a decline at all. I'm not saying its a bad thing, that its anyones fault, because its not. You can only stay on top so long before you fall off.

Basically what I'm saying is your retarded if you think this place will ever return to its golden age.

No one likes to follow rules, especially on the internet where you can carelessly say anything you feel like. So maybe new members are put off not only by the people but also by the rules. Some are needed but i think it goes too far in some instances, especially the recent rise of bans for childish shit. Personally I would have just let most of that slide and told whoever was complaining to lighten up, but thats just me. Maybe they are put off by the elitism, the clicks, the stupid ass inside jokes and bickering and on and on. I think StreetHop can best be described as a gated community. It also seems that people are too serious and negative here, I think thats just all the Euros though (thats a joke). I think this place can use a few good potheads or something. It feels like this place is a retirement home where people reminisce too much, do the bucket list thing and have fun instead of being oh so serious cus it's quite annoying. When I say its too serious that doesnt mean I prefer a bunch of fart jokes or anything of the sort, i dont really know, I feel like im at a club and i dont quite fit in cus people think they are just a little too cool. I guess those are a couple smilies, if you will, of how I see things so take no offense.

For some reason I want to say

Too many Casey Rain's and not enough Dilla's

No offense, thats just how I see it. And what's ironic is Casey probably wont take offense cus he understands it is just my point of view and he is accepting of that. Meanwhile other point of views are getting banned left and right cus for some reason they're not accepted.

I wish the saying lighten up wasnt taken so lightly.

^ No one's "point of view" was banned, man. People got banned cos they felt like adding "nigga" to every other sentence like it was cool. Sure, imo banning Da_Funk for a racist joke (which was, oddly enough, in the proper thread for it) was a bit out of the blue (twas only a week) and dilla got permabanned cos he thought it became extra cool to say it and test how far he could go.

No one got banned cos they thought something else. Some people got banned "cos dey was stupido".

So the only one I see taking this serious, is you.

Some of you bitch too much.

Preach can go and make a SUPER long serious post and then go and make a letter the president thread about a joke.

Jokerman can go and give Euphanasia advice, then fuck around.

Same with Thug$tyle, Casey... etc...

We all have different sides. No one here is serious all the time. Even Rahim and Caesar have their funny's.

I say complaining about it is kind of lame.

That being said, when can we expect these avatars and other new news projects...etc.?

The whole point of view thing is people seeing them saying "nigga" as bad. They and many others obviously thought it wasnt, thats why them getting banned I thought was stupid.

This right here is something you take a little serious, so ok. As far as daily bullshit on StreetHop goes it shouldnt be as serious, so you almost make no sense

Thats the thing. I'm never serious, neither is someone like dilla. people don't get it and b/c of that were e-rebels.

/shrug

^yes, but as you see, it also irritates e-rebels, for serious posters to post so serious.

However, everyone 'serious' is silly sometimes.

Funny posters, or 'e-rebels' come out annoying b/c they 'NEVER' (as you say it) say anything serious, so you can see why its annoying to 'serious' posters.

All us 'serious posters' ask is for some diversity, no one is the same all the time.

In fact, seeing a bitch that always smile is cute, but that type of bitch gets eerie and annoying after a while.

Now, even though I said that, I don't really care, I believe everyone here serves a purpose, and a good one at that.

Non-posters that 'e-hide' makes some people post and ask questions.

E-Rebels make it entertaining but annoying.

Casey type of posters make it very knowledgeable, but at the same time, offer such a distinct view and personal belief, that it makes it easier for discussion whether its agreement or not.

just my .02 cents

EDIT: LMAO @ FUCK YOU BUTTON.

Lookie here, now. I'm not climbing on Ceasars nuts here, but when did it become a trend to push the guy that keeps running the site out of the kindness of his fucking heart? Some people use (uncalled for) racists comments, Ceasar decides it's enough and now people are acting like our basic democratic rights are violated. Hello? Where did this come from?

And now we get every lame John and Dick in here taking cheap shots @ Ceasar for banning some people.

C'mon, now.
what are you, deaf? couldn't you hear the sarcasm in my voice?

Why was this thread moved? The purpose of my thread was to jokingly highlight that that day there was hardly any activity, I wasn't talking in general, otherwise I would have titled it just "StreetHop".

The daily bullshit on here is not serious at all, so I still don't know what you're on about.

It's the internet, putz. Detecting sarcasm in one bland line is rather hard.

Plus you're just weaseling out of a backfired joke.

Ive heard this same argument for years.

If I was around Id have banned those making racist comments straight away. I think the problem is Caesar wanted to cut them some slack and gave them too many chances. If he had just banned them straight away no one would have objected.
