Tupac Amaru Shakur,
10 years ago today you were taken from us, yet you've remained with us all throughout all these years. Through your works you left behind with us, your unrelenting and undeniable influence still reigns supreme. Tupac, you continue to be the inspiration for much of the young talent that tries to stand today where you stood 10 years ago. Try as they might, no one could ever replace you as the greatest. No other rap artist (and not many music artists in general) could ever hold a candle to that which you were able to establish while you were with us. You mean and have meant more to the music world than you could ever imagine and the impact of that fateful night 10 years ago is still felt just as harshly today as it did back in 1996. My sole regret I have is the fashion in which your work has been (mis)handled since you've left us, because the way it's being presented is not real. And as a fan of yours I know that if there is one thing you stood for, it was being real. Tupac, not a day goes by that I don't listen to your music and not a week goes by where I don't ponder where you would be at right now in your career if you were still with us. You were, are, and always will be the greatest no matter who comes out as time goes on. You are the standard by which rappers are measured today and for that reason you will always OWN the rap game. Rest In Peace Eternally. One Luv. One Thug. One Nation. The Realest. The Best Ever.
