a real soft centre in this team. Some players are not fit to wear the shirt. Kyrgiakos was out best player yet again.

I don't even mean this as a dig at Liverpool. But Man Utd beat Wigan 5-0 in both games this season. They looked so poor that I wish they get relegated. They have awful fans too.

I like some of their players though.

Was a waste of time signing Maxi Rodriquez. He isnt a whole lot and we did not need another wide player in midfield

I said before that Maxi has been poor for 18 months. That signing him even if it was basically free is pointless. Liverpool need someone to help Torres. It's as simple as that.

I don't get why Aquaman is still being rested. Just throw him in there, he can't be any worse than some players this season.

I sound like a disgruntled Liverpool fan. When really I am quite pleased

James McCarthy was good for Wigan. good player.

I haven't seen him play much but I've heard good things about him. Wigan have some decent players like Hugo Rodallega, N'Zogbia and Moreno is a good player he just needs time to adapt to European football.

agreed. or he could held onto Arbeloa and just signed another striker in summer.

I dont know what the deal is with Aquilani. I reckon he doesnt fit in with Benitez ideas. Perhaps he isnt disciplined enough for him or some shit like that. but if that is the case then why the fuck fork out 18 million on him.

Rafa was saying how its because Liverpool have played badly thats why he doesn't want to risk him in games. But I believe Liverpool's current squad hit their peak last season. Everyone was on fire.

Reina has probably been the only consistant player this season for them, Gerrard has been awful. He has had his worst ever season, watch him still be nominated for best player of the season though.

But saying that Liverpool can and probably will finish 4th as everyone else is too scared to finish 4th.

^^im not sure. yea there is the possibility of the other teams bottling it but Liverpool are well beatable at the moment so there is a good chance we will drop more points as well. All the other teams have games in hand.

nah they dont. The winners of the Europa League will qualify automatically for Europa League the following year but not the Champions League

Even if it was the case, Liverpool on current form will find it very difficult to win it.

James McCarthy was good for Wigan. good player.

He started out poorly but in the past 2/3 months he's been great for Wigan. He always looked a good player in Scotland but i'm surprised how well he has done in the Premiership.

i remember he was being linked with Liverpool.

I guess it took him a while to step up to playing in the premiership and he is still only 18 or 19 i think.
