^^I'd probably have to see more angles of it (Macheda's goal) before I make a final conclusion. Punched to the net? Someone will probably have to ask Thierry Henry for his opinion If United lost after the first goal, fair enough. I think it's a definite contender for goal of the season, if Chelsea win the league. The offside goal however was a bit too much to stomach.

was looking at some stats just now. all this hype around Rooney and yea he is an excellent player but Drogba has been just as good if not better in the league this season. Rooney has 26 league goals and 5 assists in 29 games while Drogba has 25 goals and 10 assists in 27 games.

Torres has 18 goals and 3 assists in 21 games

^^no he has 15 goals and 15 assists in 27 games. i was just talking about the league and comparing the 3 best strikers. Rooney's Chapions League record is what puts him out in front though.

Liverpool linked with Danny Wilson of Rangers. only 18

is he good?

He's a very good prospect, has strolled through league games and has done well against Celtic and in the Champions League this year. I reckon he'll go on to be the best Scottish center back since McLeish.

If he does sign for Liverpool i wouldn't expect him to play much his first season, possibly a few carling cup games or so. But even then the experience of training/playing alongside Carragher/Agger etc would be great for him.
