11/12 Premier League thread

We would deserve it no less than Chelsea.

But regardless, I'm happy to see we managed to put up a challenge at all, after a lot of people predicted we'd drop out of the top four.

i was at work and noticed we were 1-0 up against, city. when i got to the car and put the radio on i found out were were 2-1 down, then bellamy made it 3.

we need to buy more players in the summer - need more depth if we're going to get anywhere in europa league and if we even want to think about challenging for fourth place again. but the problem seems as though we'll be strapped for cash this summer.

so much speculation linking young with real/barca, milner with man utd, carew with fulham and so on... we need to keep those three players and just make additions.

also, i wonder how many clubs will be after jermaine beckford in the summer.

if we just beat blackburn, we'll be guaranteed at least 6th place above liverpool. its crazy how 67 points can only guarantee you only 6th place now...

Each week Soccer AM asks players and former pros to dish the dirt on their team-mates.

This week it is the turn of Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas to tell us what his pals are like behind the scenes...

BEST TRAINER
I'd say Aaron Lennon. He puts it in week in week out, surprising probably to a few, but yeah he's a good trainer.

BEST NICKNAME
David Bentley's not bad; he gets called 'horse' because of his teeth! You can have that!

MOST SKILFUL
Probably Luka Modric. He's tough to get anywhere near on a football pitch. He's got great feet, great ability, so yeah probably him.

LEAST INTELLIGENT
After what happened recently I'd say Luka Modric, I'll tell you the story actually. He needed to get some pictures done for his driving license and his missus did as well. So the liaison at Spurs said to him 'can you bring in some pictures of you and your missus so we can get your driving license sorted out'. So he comes in in the morning and basically he's gone to one of those booths and him and his missus have had a picture taken together! (Laughs). And he's brought it and said 'here's the picture for my driving license'! All the lads got hold of it and he's never going to live that one down.

BEST INITIATION
We get the young lads to sing a song on the away trips and I think the funniest one was probably Danny Rose. He had to sing 50 Cents' In Da Club and it wasn't good, let's just say that!

WORST DRESS SENSE
David Bentley. He wears the tightest jeans you've ever seen. He has to jump off the cabinet just to get in them every day after training. Just horrible.

WORST DANCER
Probably Tom Huddlestone. He just doesn't move. I don't know whether he's scared or just doesn't have any rhythm, but he just stands there and tries to look good.

AND WHO'S THE LONGEST IN THE SHOWER
Probably Azza! (Aaron Lennon).
Good God Modric, you idiot. lol. :D

I just watched on ESPN classic how Arsenal won the league at Anfield in the last minute on the last day. Liverpool players were signaling to each other, "One minute" (to them being crowned champions), only for Arsenal to score and win the league. That's a once in a lifetime moment that doesn't happen again.

The Chelsea/Wigan game will have a larger audience just because of all the United haters that will be watching it.
