Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs lost its court case to block attempts at helping Portsmouth out of administration. Good news for Portsmouth, they survive for now..
How can a club of that size be so badly run. Notice how Harry wants to do the same at Spurs.

It's what happens when you sell your best players and squander the profits made from said sales. There has been some very poor management throughout that club and I don't just mean the team itself. Everyone has to take an allocation of blame here including the executives and chairmen. I read they also invested in a new stadium and training facility without much analysis and thus the plans fell through with millions lost. The club still owes millions to agents / players to complete partially made payments made on thier behalf.

Truely eye-opening stuff.

^^Oh yeah, Hernandez goal was really out there. To think he's a class act in those scenarios :) I was wondering about the name on his shirt, are players allowed to wear nicknames?

Martin O'Neill has resigned? What the fuck...this is probably due to the transfer situation. I love the guy for all the great work he did at Wycombe, I think he should take a step up and come back here :thumb: :D

bobby there was always talk of him quitting, since he was on a one year rolling contract each season, with a chance to reflect on performances at the end of every season.

ive given up hope of any achievement this season. im expecting to lose to west ham this saturday and get knocked out of the europa league at the hands of rapid vienna (again).

everything seems to be going wrong for us now. i bet we lose milner this week, dont sign ireland or mcgeady either.

sky sports news erport that martin jol is favourite to take over from MON. haha forget that. im so pissed off right now. i am going to be quizzed all day at work next weekend!!

edit: im so shocked over this. my brother asked me to check the latest on mcgeady's situation, so off i go to sky tsports teletext to the villa page first (as i always do) and i couldnt believe what i was seeing. didnt feel real at the time, thought i was seeing things.

they say that the reason for MON resigning has not been mentioned, but i expect it to be over transfer policies and maybe something to do with the transfer over milner.

i wonder what MON will do next and who will come in to replace him.

reserve team coach Kevin McDonald (who has done a great job in the past few years by the way) is taking over on a temporary basis.
