Chelsea were very unlucky against Everton. Everton should've been down to 9 men and another penalty should have been awarded to Chelsea. But still good result for us :)

I have no idea why he was sacked? He got them promoted with no money and no new players, he comes into the premiership, spends nothing apart from the player from Twente, brings in Ben Arfa but some dutchie broke his leg. He has had limited resources but still sit in midtable ahead of Liverpool, Everton etc. Ridiculous decision. But it's Newcastle, pathetic club whose main purpose is to be laughed at. I hope they get relegated.

^^he left Ajax i think.

its a disgrace. Hughton has been treated very badly.

Liverpool 3 Villa 0. good performance. another good performance by Lucas. N'Gog, Maxi and Babel played well too. Mereiles and Lucas should be the central midfield pairing from now on. VIlla are playing very badly though and and are missing a few players.

cuellar is back soon so hopefully he'll get a chance because he was playing quite well prior to his injury.

we were terrible and i think houllier's tactics are not working at all. i think delfouneso should start games alongside agbonlahor and carew should come off the bench to play a role. one thing ive noticed with him is that he's lazy when he starts, but he brings energy into the squad when he comes off the bench at around 70 minutes.

there's rumours that friedel will leave in january - if that's the case then we need another first team keeper - not so sure if guzan will be up to it. he played well in cup games and has been great so far with penalties.

we've had a first team out pretty much: reo-coker, cuellar, carew, heskey, albrighton, petrov, sidwell, delph, gabby (until he came back), and there's some more. i still dont think we should be losing as many points as we have - its ridiculous. we did nothing to win that match at anfield.

last time it was the other way around where villa started off pretty well and bobby (on this forum) was complaining about hodgson at liverpool and their very low league position. the tables have turned and we were so poor last night that it seemed as though hodgson had no managerial issues during his time there.

Liverpool done well but Villa were awful. Dunne and Collins were shocking at the back.

Must say Mereiles and N'gog have impressed me though. Still think they need a better left back than Konchesky.

You need a defensive midfielder, one that tackles. A new keeper, Friedel needs to leave. And a goalscorer.

Seriously everyone....

ALAN PARDEW is the man to take Newcastle forward? Someone who wasn't good enough for League One!!!! Mike AShley is a joke.

LOL, they hired pardew? hahaha. sorry hughton.

ciaran clarke plays a kind of defensive mid role at times. he's been really good bar a few unforced fouls.

Coleman, Mccarthy, Clarke and Cunningham look like good prospects for us./

Man United are apparently interested in Ciaran Clark.

But look at Villa's last good midfielder. Irish as well I think. Man United had him scouted too. Davis. Now plays for Rangers.

I hope man united dont go for him. i think he'll do well. he opted to play for ireland instead of england.

steven davis was northern irish. he's had his fair share of injuries.
