2 Pac jacked his rapping style from......

#1
Scarface.

Since many people (foolishly) believe Pac was completely original and create countless threads chastising those rappers that bear any resemblence to him whatsoever and diss rappers who use samples that were PRODUCED from other samples for him....

I thought we'd flip it and have a thread dedicated to those rappers that Pac copied his style from.

I'm sure everyone will say that Pac was inspired or motivated by certain artists but didn't copy there styles in true hypocritical "fuck JA RULE and 50 Cent for biting Pac" small minded fashion but maybe I'll be proven wrong.

50 cent doesn't bite pac. to me the realest and ja rule are the only ones i consider 2pac biters cause they aren't just inspired by 2pac they try to look like and be like him. it's pretty obvious 2pac was influenced by a lot of rappers from nwa to rakim to scarface. everybody is influenced by somebody. peace

Well hold up here, you can't make a statement like that and then provide no factual basis to back it up, it appears you haven't even put anything as to why pac bit scarface.... so, how can you be proven wrong if you haven't provided any proof to begin with?

I've always thought 2pacs style resembled Rakim and Scarface's the most - im not suprised y'all picked up on that too. I would'nt say he jacked cuz 2pac was the most original realest "musician" I ever heard. And trust me boy, I got a very wide range of musical tastes. He was influenced by them. 2pac didnt jack nobody, that's crazy. But anyway there's a thousand threads of how OG he was, so theres no need to go into that any further...

As for the claimed 2pac biters - here is what it takes -In my opinion:

1) Biter copies image
2) Biter copies lyrical flow
3) Biter claims to be the next ...
4) Biter acts as if they are the person they biting (Did that actually make sense?)

50 dont fit in any of them, maybe a little of the image but he's a big dude so he not really imitating 'Pac. And he's kinda got his own reasons for being in the rap game. He said himself "Them shoes are too big to fill". He's had a bad past. Nothing too rosey and pretty. Give the man his dues I say. (Im still a bigger Game fan though - BLACKWALL STREET BABY!)

Ja Rule However looks as if he's rapping cuz he watched a 2pac Video and thought "Hey, I wanna do that just like him". Its soo blatantly obvious he wants to be 2pac. He is a 2pac impersoantor, Elvis has millions of them and 2pac has a few too. Ja Rule is the leader of that church.

pac didnt jack anybodys style, you could argue that he was influenced by some artist like digital underground, scarface and rakim, but what artist hasnt been influenced by some one look at michael jackson for example he copied allot of james brown moves and was really influenced by him but you wont here anybody saying he aint shit and fuck him because of that actually mj would tell you him self that he was influenced by james brown and that he tried to copy them, same with todays artist they will tell they been influenced by mj or who ever, its human nature man when your starting out your gonna try to be like the person you look up to the most, so i see it as a sign of how great pac was when i notice somebody being like him or sounding like or using some of his words or even some of his beats, to me it shows respect not disrespect.

and about 50 and ja i never thought any of them was copying pac actually nobody said shit about jarule that was negative before 50 came along every body loved his shit, the only resemblance to pac that he had was not waring a shirt and waring the bandanna the way pac did.
