2pac is overrated in common eyes..

Anyone who has a favorite something, tends to overrate it on some level, and 2pac has ALOT of devoted fans who place him on top of rap music. Since so many fans rate him as the number 1 rap musician, the rap fans who even only occasionally listen to pac are just persauded to agree that he is the greatest. This snowball effect keeps going until People who don't even listen to Rap agree that 2pac is the greatest. But if a Rapper does have so many devoted fans who regard him as the best overall rapper after years of his death, some of that hype is there for a reason.

Cool or not, 90% of today's rap is all: clubs, sex, bitches, cars, partying, weed, and "im so gangster". I can care less because I only listen to meaningful rap. I don't even like Tupac's 'How do you want it' or '2 of America's most wanted'. If you can tell the people who listen to 'crap rap' to listen to Tupac's meaningful songs, such as: 'Life goes On' or 'Dear Mama', they'll be surprised how crappy the rap they listen to is.

^ yup i use to listen 2 that commercial rap until i heard Pac and other rappers, thats why i praise Pac so much, cuz now i only like 2 listen to the meaningful songs. His music has gotten me into things i would never have gotten into like Poetry. i use to make fun of poetry too...

i am 24 and i like pac way more as i get older than i did when i was younger although i listen to his music probably less now than i use to. i am more a fan of tupac the person than the rapper now. i will always bump pac though. peace
