I mean that he is lyrically better on this album than any other. He is more renowned for having deep lyrics but im not talking about deep and emotional lyrics im talking about 2Pac as a lyricist. He wasnt the best lyricist but his performance on 2Pacalypse Now is pretty good.

He has better "Lyrically Deep" songs on other albums.

Im not talkling about deep, meaningful lyrics.Im talking lyricism

Totally agree. White mans world is one of those tracks where he comes back with that realness.

Apart from that i agree 2pac wrote his best lyrics in the 2pacalyps now era / for the album. 2pac kept it real on all albums and always talked about politics, the hood etc. but you can't deny even pac got caught up in music world. The main reason for that is Death Row where he started to flash jewelry, talk more bullshit, do more club type shit etc. I believe like some do that if 2pac never would've wounded up on Death Row he would've stayed more down with the political side. 2pac used more metaphors and got more lyrical as he grew older but that doesn't mean he wrote his best shit as the years progressed. 2pacalyps now got simple lyrics but at the same time the best message only he doesn't go that deep with wordplay.
'Blasphemy' is a good example of a very lyrical song with a lot of wordplay but 2pac wasn't really carrying out a message with it. Moses split the read sea, i split the blunts <--- great wordplay and lyrical but there's no message in there. Just pouring words out and it make it sound good.

Do u mean songs recorded for Makaveli DK7 Day theory or Unreleased songs?some of the songs that were supposedly meant for One Nation had 2Pac at his best lyrically. The Likes of Who Do U Believe In,Military Minds,Brotherz At Arms were meant for One Nation werent they.Pac is at his best on those songs.Although songs on Makaveli like Hail Mary,Blasphemy and Against All Odds have Pac at his best. Its a toss between the two.

Damn, Nut you really think that Blasphemy doesn't carry message? You really need to listen to that song more, better read the lyrics few times and try to think.

No offense but I find Blasphemy very powerful song not because of a wordplay but the lyrics, Pac talks about important things in the song, how people go brainstormed with the church shit so they don't see the evil itself, how people twisted "god shit" and "jesus shit", the way of handling your life by yourself, and trust, and that our mind are controlled by lots of outside factors etc.

The song is great and I fully relate to it.

There was plenty of political side left while he was on Death Row. It's just that most of the political related tracks went unreleased. You could argue that All Eyez On Me was a strictly commercial venture (although it still had deep message songs), but after that the only official release he had scheduled to that point was Makaveli, and that had plenty of beef related tracks.

And for the guy saying there was no message in Blasphemy, wow. Blasphemy, Krazy, White Man's World and Hold Ya Head are completely about overarching messages.

Noble himself said pac didn't even realize what we wrote so he was just putting words on paper. The fact he smoked and drank a lot more in 95-96 than he did in 91-92 also says something. The message on tracks of 2pacalyps now send out a message in contrary to Blasphemy. Don't get me wrong, he goes in that song but it's not 'conscious' even though he spits some facts.

Pac even rhymed a lil bit quicker in 2pacalypse Now. Ain't too many other tracks from his other albums faster than Young Black Male, Something Wicked, & Words of Wisdom, (Static, if it was cut from the album)
But don't forget about Pac's lyrical ability in songs like If I Die 2nite, where a lot of his words start with the letter P. Even I didn't notice it at first. Me & My Girlfriend or Representin' '93.
Pac was more political in 2pacalypse Now, but I don't think he lost touch in his abilities

i think Me Against The World was his best lyrical album with lines like:
"They say pussy and paper is poetry, power, and pistols"

then AEOM came around and it went a little mainstream for pac (it was forced) but then DK7 was planned and those summer recording were among pac's best lyrical songs... this was the realest album of all-time for a popular artist...

I always thought "Young Black Male" featured some of of his best lyricism, even though it was just an intro, you'll know what I mean if you've paid attention to that song closely
