U seem to be a very angry individual - you should relax a little....

I would enjoy to hear a fresh music with old tupac lyrics and i assume millions of people will too. If he wanted it to sound that way so be it. Just a selfish idea of remixing 2pacalypse Now album thats it. nothing is wrong i can picture calling the actual album 2pacalypse Then-Now - here comes Pac again :)

Peace dude
anyone who actually wants to hear Brendas Got a Baby featuring Elton John shouldn't listen to a 2pac record in the first place.

anyone who baught Loyal to the GAme because G-unit and Eminem were on it should be dragged out into the street and executed, the last thing 2pac needs is more fans who only buy his cds to listen to the "fresh" beats and the Eminem hooks

I come across as an angry individual because this is one of the stupidest idea's ever to come across 2pacboard, if you wanna make some home-made remixes, then fine, go ahead and enjoy, especially guys like Jigz who can make some quality work. home-made remixes are very different from actual (semi) professional producers like Eminem or Red Spyda that Interscope and Amaru would approach for a project like this.

why so many hostility?

I respect everyones opinions...as far as 2pacalypse Now goes here are my thoughts... We DO enjoy some remixes of old songs isnt that right?

Also why i started this topic is because I enjoy Pacs music to the fullest, but when everyone around you like a younger generation of people will not pick up and listen to this album, thats a fact. They are the ones who bought L2TG...

I have lost of cousins and brothers that are much younger than me, but when i pump 2pacalypse - for them its really outdated. How many people here still listen to Run DMC or any old school tracks. not many even old time fans are enjoying new music. You all can say so we need to remix all old school albums like Run dmc and shit, the answer is no, but PAC is a different story. His voice does come out strongest even on accapellas. And as far as I know Pac never relaly cared about the beats - "we dont have aluxury of sitting in a studio and picking out the beats" remix that shit later....
whoever doesnt respect 2pacalypse nowadays its their choice... i started listening to pac when i was in 7th grade and i fuckin loved 2pacalypse after i picked it up... it really depends on the person, u cant say that all new listeners wont like that album.... remaking that IS like spitting on his grave... as far as the remixes go... thats why u go to mix em up bro.... but to have an official remix of his old shit would be a failure just like nuu mixx

Yo Mongol, that Dogg Pound Gangsta LP ain't working for me.

Downloads fine but when i go to play it there says there is one error.

Unfortunately this stops me playing any of the tracks.

They're just sitting there waiting to be heard......

On a happy note, the Acapellas worked. Cheers.

Are you implying that Death Row did a successful job with Nu Mixx? the album still sits on the shelves and Suge fired Darron Vegas once it flopped.

Amaru can't remix 2pacalypse Now and expect any mainstream success without having to sink to the level of adding Eminem to it, this is a fact. The RUSD days are over, Amaru no longer promotes itself on its own, they have to rely on over-hyped producers to do it for them
Bank Robber says it all right here. I think the R U Still Down days are over too. :(

The worst mistake you fans would like to do is to remix albums Pac brought out in og form because he decided to put it that way so his message is meant the way it should be. Why do you guys want to touch something that was meant to be the way it is. As far as remastering the album, I don't think I would mind, it would be a great idea but unfortunately that's not going to happen. Since when does Amaru listen to what the fans say, it seems as if every year people complain more about the albums and Amaru seems to be doing worst with all the idiotic moves being done, except the fact that Quik and Syke was on the new album and some other great ideas that Amaru decided to pull off on SIR, UTEOT, and BD. But unfortunately I'm not sure that all the positive stuff outweigh all the negative stuff. Anways to be honest with you guys, I'm more than happy that they keep on bringing out albums every year so we have our dose at the very least.

Peace

It's too bad they've already done this to some extent. Like I Wonder If Heaven's Got A Ghetto, Loyal To The Game, My Block, Military Minds, Realist Killaz, etc. You could argue that the new beats are better (the only one I might agree about though is My Block), but the fact is there's a lot of songs he released and now they're being changed around and rereleased.
